WHY ?I chose this topic Ankylosaur because they are dinosaurs and we don’t know lot about them?

SO WHAT ?

So I might found more Ankylosaur fact and get a good grade.

PERIOD AND TIME• The Triassic Period: 250 million t200 million years ago.• The Jurassic Period: 200 million to o 145 million years ago.• The Cretaceous Period: 145 million to 65 million years ago.

TRIASSIC

JURASSIC CRETACEOUS

* Ankylosaurs are armored giants that live

in the Jurassic era and Cretaceous era .

* Ankylosaurs are herbivore that feed on

low growing plant and bushes

* Some Ankylosaur have club tail like

Ankylosaurus and Tarchia , but all

Ankylosaur are armored with thick layer of

bones that protect it’s soft body from

predators.* Ankylosaurs come in all shape and size

like Minmi which are the size of sheep and

Tarchia the living tank.

ANKYLOSAURUS

Ankylosaurus are the biggest Ankylosaur, they are the size of tanks and weighted 9,000 kilograms. They lived at the period late cretaceous. T. Rex are Ankylosaurus arch-nemesis, so Ankylosaurus have 8 inches armor of bone , they also have tail club to defend itself the club are created by 7 bones that fuse together .

TARCHIA

Tarchia are the smartest Ankylosaur ever known because their brain was the biggest even though Ankylosaurus head was twice as big . Tarchia was also big they weighted 10,000 kilograms. Tarchia lived in the period mid cretaceous . Tarchia also has a tail club and thick armor.

SCUTELLOSAURUS

Scutellosaurus was the smallest Ankylosaur ever known . Scutellosaurus lived at the period of late Jurassic and was found at U.S Arizona. It’s armor plate are the size of a coke cap . Also Scutellosaurus was a very fast runner for a dinosaur with armor and was one of the smartest Ankylosaur. Scutellosaurus was one of the oldest known Ankylosaur too.

GASTONIA

Gastonia was a great defender with a very thick armor to protect itself from one of the nastiest killer dinosaur the Utahraptor the biggest raptor of all time. Gastonia was found along side with Utahraptor at U.S Utah. There were no complete fossil of Gastonia so we’re not sure how many bones Gastonia has.

MINMI

Minmi was also small a 2 meter long sheep size Ankylosaur that lived at the early cretaceous .Minmi was one of the dumbest Ankylosaur ever known . Minmi ate low growing plant at Australia dessert those leaf shape teeth is a very strong beak that scientist think they use in defence. Minmi migrated when food was scarced at winter .
