strongly encourage ALL majors to take majors courses with their UC cohort to ensure that they have learned the specific material required for advanced courses (AP courses vary in what they teach).

Pre-Veterinary Students: Students planning to attend Veterinary or other professional schools must keep their course load ≥15 hours per semester, maintain a GPA near 3.5, and complete all Chemistry, Physics, and Biology required courses before the end of their junior year so that they are prepared to take entrance exam (e.g., VCAT, GRE) at the end of their Junior year. Delay in getting into CHE211 or lack of success in that course during the first semester, could delay entrance into graduate school by one full year or more.
