Important to Note

While continuing to increase our school pass rate in math, the middle school increased the number of students taking Algebra I from 58 in 2006 to 248 students in spring 2009, with an 86% pass rate on the End of Course Algebra I SOL test in spring 2009.

Also, for the first time Martinsville Middle School had 18 students take Geometry I with a 100% pass rate on the End of Course Geometry SOL test.

From 2006-2008 Martinsville Middle School had three different principals.
