Materials:

1.Cutting mat or cardboard

Instructions:

1. Print Patterns

2. Place a sheet of paper on a cutting mat or

cardboard. With a ruler, measure a width of

about 1cm for each strip. Using an X-

acto/precision knife and with the help of your

ruler, cut each individual strip of paper. You can

also use scissors if this is what you prefer!

3. Using a toothpick or a quilling tool, begin

twirling your paper into a circular roll. Then

secure it closed with a small bit of glue on the

tip.

4. Use your fingers to shape your circular quill

into whatever shape you desire.

5. Add a little bit of glue onto the bottom of

each quill and glue it on the pattern.

6. Feel free to use any color of your choice!

Don’t play it safe, explore with lots of colors.

Remember quilling is all about bright and fun

colors!
