The history of this oriental bath goes back 800 years to Central Anatolia and Istanbul. The bathing ritual left everyday worries outside – people came to enjoy it, but also to chat. Even ancient Roman thermal baths combined relaxation with socialisation. This bathing culture is still maintained in the Middle East, in beautiful bath houses.

The hammam is like an oasis for all the senses. Aromas, humidity and massages re-energise our bodies and bring our own harmony back into balance. Throughout the ages, hammam and spa culture have undergone some changes. For example, in the west, we prefer to enjoy a tranquil atmosphere and save the chit-chat for later on.
