Role: Senior Maintenance Planner & Asset Management Consultant Strategy - Since joining Programmed FM as their senior maintenance planner I have been

working to redefine our approach to maintenance activities. I have implemted the foundations for the whole of life approach to facility and asset management following the ISO 55001 guidelines.

PM Optimisation – Provided cost savings to clients PM Optimisation activities, review of historical data such as mean time between failure (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR) to update PM plans and schedules accordingly.

Asset Management Plans – Regularly produce asset management plans through client and operations interfacing during contract mobilisations phase and thereafter during annual review phase.

Asset Condition Assessments – Reaslised $5.5M in cost savings from development of asset tailored condition assessment methodoly for PPP contracts.

Maintenance scheduling - Provided advice to operational teams on costing of PM plans and utilisation of labour and resources to increase uptime and availability of assets.

Reliability Centred Maintenance – Facilitate reliability centred maintenance workshops utilising FMECA process to determine optimum maintenance strategy for critical assets.

Service Level Agreement and Maintenance Plans - Working closely with our consultants I have created maintenance plans for all assets under our contractual portfolio and implemented a more systematic approach to ensure all service levels are met throughout the year.

Asset Management and Training - I have championed our move into asset management. I regularly write and conduct training sessions on asset management which have been backed by the state manager and was made compulsory for all PFM staff to attend.

Contractor Management & Maintenance Planning - Initially I was hired to oversee the contractor management and maintenance planning all of WA’s TAFE campuses and our Water

M: 0466 262 046 E: [email protected] contract. That was increased to 7 contracts in total within a short period due to my proficiency.

Maximo - I am the “super user” for our asset management system Maximo and again, conduct regular training sessions that were made compulsory for all PFM staff to attend.

Contract Administration & Tender Review - I work closely with procurement department during tender development and evaluation stages as acting SME for Asset Management and Maintenance.

Lifecycle Replacement Program – I have been required to produce lifecycle replacement plans as part of bid submissions and thereafter on an annual basis for mobilised contracts.

Direct Reports and Managed Service Delivery Partners - I have led a team of three maintenance planners (direct reports) as well as managed service delivery partners. I initiated training programms to upskill my department to ensure maintenance planners had sufficient technical knowledge to understand how best to maximise asset value within budget contraints.

Communication - As a senior member of staff I am required to have weekly meeting with other department heads to discuss interdepartmental issues and make stakeholders aware of any forseen risks that require mitigation.

Reporting - I work closely with the state manager and provide asset management and contractor management KPI and progress reports. I have introduced overdue reporting for contractor work orders and trained planners and call centre staff on how to identify repeat call outs and deal with them accordingly.

Training - I have developed and facilitated training sessions for all contract managers on the expectation of commissioning and handover data required for our asset management system for ease and accuracy of reporting.

Contractor Meeting and Safety - I hold regular contractor meetings and use this to push our safety culture of Zero Harm as often as possible and that they comply with all Regulatory requirements.

Project Management – I often manage projects up to a value of $500,000 from mobilisation through to project completion, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged throughout the process. I am proficient in the use of Excel and Project.

Root Cause Analysis – I am frequently involved in root cause analysis workshops across multiple disciplines of the business from engineering to process improvement. I have been introducing the 8D reporting technique to the consultancy team to help roll out to the wider business.
