Working with a Supplychain and technical development team to develop and bring new products to market in the Set Top Box Industry. Working with both UK and EU Manufacturing facilities ensuring launch programs and existing products inside general public arena are fully supported

BOM Control – Working aside Engineering Teams, clear tracking of all products BOM’s maintained with full archive tracking (revision control in place).

NPI – Through daily meetings with full hardware and software teams, clear information release to the wider audience to ensure program management is kept on target timelines.

Component Procurement for Product accessory components – Working with UK and EU supplier base to provide clear forecast info, place applicable orders ensuring best mix of price against order volumes achieved.

Production Build Scheduling for Czech Republic Manufacture. Working through customer forecast information with production teams to ensure correct SKU plans in place to meet set stock volumes and timelines.

Transportation Management both UK and CZ site. Working with Courier UPS and their warehouse teams to ensure delivery of products are achieved against agreed customer booking slots.

Stock Audit at CZ & UK Manufacturing Sites. 100% audit control and testing at Manufacturing site against Engineering software profile before approving CM to release product batches into inventory.

Order Desk Control for UK Customer Base. Daily control working with the likes of John Lewis, Comet, Argos, PC World and other Blue Chip businesses to ensure order profile is kept under control and demand is met.

Consignment process agreement - Agreed with key supplier with high value items to follow a consignment process on product delivery. (Stock held at HU facility but owned by supplier until used).

Production - Demand Planning – Overview with planning teams to ensure correct SKU mix built.

Customer and Supplier Forecasting – Involved weekly with customer (Hewlett Packard) and Contract Manufacturer (Flextronics) to assess forecast accuracy.

Implemented removal of VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) to a 2 day delivery of “just in time” protocol thus removing a monthly stagnant $150K value from Supplychain and increased sales revenue return.

Implemented consignment process with key media supplier to remove $150K per month of inventory and increase product availability by 8 days

Production Supervisor Feb 2000 – June 2003Hewlett Packard Stoke Gifford UK

Joining Hewlett Packard in early 2000 when HP was ready to launch into LTO data storage. Brought in initially as a build and repair technician, my path took me very quickly into product production and testing.

Production planning. Working with Demand and Sales Teams . Product Testing controls - Working with engineering teams to ensure
