With over 10 years’ experience in running my own business – Newbuild Roofline – a contracting company specialising in roofline products.

Contracts ranged from domestic garages to commercial properties. This involves fascia’s and soffits, guttering and cladding, torch on felt, GRP, liquid rubber, and single ply membrane. In addition to providing flat roofing, I also spent many years working on a range of pitched roof applications, from heritage sites, to large commercial and industrial contracts.

Prior to starting Newbuild Roofline, I was working on developing my skills on various contracting projects for a variety of contracting companies:Poole Joinery, DPR Windows, Trade Style – fascia’s and soffits and guttering.Just Home Improvements –as above but now including windows, doors and conservatory installations.Coral Roofing – as above and now including all aspects of roofing disciplines.Anglian Windows – all the above but now specialising on all aspects of window doors and conservatories installations.AJF Roofing – all the above but specialising in all types of roofing contracts.

From 2005 when I started New Build Roofline I was involved in many direct contract projects as well as several as sub -contractor to the main contractor.

New Build Roofline – in this I was involved in all aspects of a sole trader, marketing, pricing and quotations, procurement of raw materials, installation and management of working teams, and supervision of quality and health and safety standards.

Reason for Application

Although I have enjoyed running my own business, my real interest and skill lies in delivering and producing the finished product for the customer rather than all the headaches of running a business and all that entails.
