1 I. GENERAL: 1. Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam invites applications for admission through Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET)-2011 into various Science, Arts, Law , Pharmaceutical & Engineering courses offered in Campus Colleges of Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU), Rajahmundry, Andhra University (AU), Visakhapatnam, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University (BRAU), Srikakulam, P.G Centres, and Colleges affiliated to AU & B.R.A.U offering P.G. Courses for the academic year 2011-2012. 2. Candidates seeking admission into various courses of study for which tests are conducted (See Appendix – I) should appear for AUCET-2011. 3. Candidates who have already passed their qualifying degree examination or who have appeared / are appearing for the annual examination in 2011 only are eligible for AUCET-2011. Supplementary candidates of 2011 are not eligible. 4. Eligibility criteria for different courses and the different Tests to be conducted are given in Appendices-I * Candidates from other recognised universities are considered for admission into PG Arts and Science courses only if they possess a three year Bachelor Degree of 10+2+3 or 12+3 or 11+1+3 pattern, with the prescribed minimum percentage of marks, unless otherwise specified. Bachelor Degree candidates from distance education without 10+2+3 pattern are also eligible for admission into P.G. Courses. * Eligibility criteria for admission into various PG Arts and Science courses is with reference to the Common Core Scheme offered by the respective universities. Where group subjects (part-II) of degrees of other Universities do not have subjects of equal weightage, the subject enjoying the highest weightage shall be considered as the main, for the purpose of deciding the eligibility. Bachelor degrees of B.A./ B.Sc./B.Com./B.A.Litt. and B.L. from universities other than AP should be recognised by the respective university as equivalent thereto. 5. The requirement for admission into all Science and Pharmaceutical Courses offered by these universities is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Group Subjects (Part II) of the qualifying examination unless or otherwise specified. For SC and ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in group subjects (Part II) is sufficient. 6. The requirement for Arts and Commerce and Law courses is generally a pass in the appropriate qualifying degree, except in the case of admission into M.A./M.Sc. Quantitative Economics; M.Ed./M.A. Adult Education. M.Sc. Anthropology, 5 - Year Integrated MS Programme courses and 5-Year Integrated Dual Degree Programs (B.E.+ M.E. and B.Tech + M.Tech which, the requirement is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in group subjects (Part-II) in the qualifying examination (B.Sc/ 10+2 or 11+1.) and for SC& ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the group subjects (Part-II) is required. 7. ALLOWING A CANDIDATE FOR AUCET-2011 DOES NOT GUARANTEE A RIGHT OF ADMISSION INTO THE COURSE OF STUDY. A candidate must satisfy the eligibility criteria as given in Appendix-I. Candidates allowed to take the entrance test and subsequently getting seats by furnishing false information are liable for prosecution and cancellation of seats without notice. The decision of the admitting authority is final. 8. Candidates are advised to go through the information Brochure carefully and claim admission under appropriate categories of reservation by filling in the relevant boxes with appropriate code numbers in both Computer Data Sheet and Application form. Requests for inclusion or change of test, test centre and / or reservation category(ies) once claimed will not be entertained for change under any circumstances. The applications will be processed as per the claims of the candidates only and the admissions will be subject to the validity of their claims. 9. Candidates who have already completed one P.G. course or one Professional Degree course and who are now seeking admission into second P.G. or professional course respectively will not be provided hostel accommodation and will not be considered for any type of scholarship whatsoever, as per G.O.s. in force. 10. Candidates who have already studied / are studying a P.G. course are not eligible to write the test leading to admission into the same course. Such candidates are liable for disciplinary action. 11. The concerned university reserves the right to fill or not to fill the seats earmarked for a particular course on administrative reasons. All admissions are purely provisional and the concerned university reserves the right to cancel the admission at any stage. Further it also reserves the right to run or not to run a particular course depending on the number of candidates joined in it. 12. MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION IN ALL P.G. COURSES EXCEPT LANGUAGES OFFERED WILL BE INENGLISH. HENCE THE CANDIDATES SHALL WRITE THEIR SUBSEQUENT EXAMINATIONS AFTERADMISSION IN ENGLISH ONLY.

13. All disputes pertaining to AUCET-2011 shall fall within the courts jurisdiction of Visakhapatnam only.14. Information regarding P.G. courses offered by universities and affiliated colleges and no.of seats are given in

Appendix-III.II. HOW TO APPLY:1. Applications can be had from the sale counters. Candidates have to submit a separate printed

set of application for each test. Candidates applying for BFA. course offered in AU should pay anadditional amount of Rs. 300/- towards Practical fee in the form of D.D. drawn in favour of the Director,AUCET-2011, Directorate of Admissions, Visakhapatnam on any nationalised bank payable atVisakhapatnam. The name of the applicant and application No. should be written on the reverse side ofthe D.D. The fee once paid will not be refunded.

2. Candidates seeking admission into any Course offered without entrance test should also apply to theDirector, AUCET - 2011, Directorate of Admissions in the prescribed Application form, separately for eachcourse, unless and otherwise specified.

3. The candidates need not apply again for admission into University Colleges, P.G. Centres, and Collegesaffiliated to AU, AKNU and BRAU except for minority institutions.

4. The duly filled-in application should be accompanied with attested copies of the following certificates:(i) Date of birth extract from SSC/ICSE/CBSE/Matriculation certificate.(ii) Supporting evidence for claims of reservation under SC, ST, LBC, EBC, PH, NCC, Sports, NSS,Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) category and minorities.

III. LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF FILLED-IN APPLICATIONS:1. Application forms completed in all respects should reach the Director, AUCET-2011, Directorate of

Admissions, Visakhapatnam (only in the cover provided with the application clearly writing the test number,test name and test centre) by registered post or in person before 5:00 p.m on or before 30-03-2011.

2. Office of Directorate of Admissions is not responsible for the non-receipt of applications sent by post orby courrier or late receipt of applications due to postal delay or for any reason whatsoever.

IV. LATE APPLICATIONS:Applications received after the last date 30-03-2011 will be treated as late applications and shall beaccepted only on a payment of late fee of Rs.500/- through D.D. in favour of the Director, AUCET-2011,Directorate of Admissions upto 5:00 p.m on 08-04-2011. Applications will also be accepted with afine of Rs.1,000/- up to 5:00 p.m on 20-04-2011. (Candidates applying during this period will bealloted Visakhapatnam centre only.)INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED.

V. HALL-TICKETS:1. Hall-Tickets will be sent to candidates under certificate of posting 10 days before the date of commencement

of Entrance Test. In case of non-receipt of hall-ticket in time, candidates are advised to contact theDirectorate of Admissions at Tel No. (0891) 2573441 or 2706928 two days before the test date.

2. The hall-ticket should be retained by the Candidate carefully as it has to be produced at thetime of admission.

3. Duplicate hall-ticket can be obtained by a candidate from the Directorate of Admissions or ChiefSuperintendent of the concerned test centres during the office hours only, one day before thecommencement of Entrance Test, on production of: (i) one attested passport size photograph, (ii) Cash/Demand Draft for Rs.100/- drawn in favour of the Director, AUCET-2011, Directorate of Admissions,Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

VI. TEST CENTRES:AUCET-2011 will be conducted at the following Test Centres:01. VISAKHAPATNAM 02. SRIKAKULAM 03. VIZIANAGARAM 04. KAKINADA 05. RAJAHMUNDRY06. ELURU 07. BHIMAVARAM 08. VIJAYAWADA 09. GUNTUR.

a. Candidate should mention the Centre code and name of his / her choice in both Computer Data Sheetand Application Form. Candidate applying for more than one Test is advised to opt for the same Centreas there is a likelihood of clash of dates and timings. Request for change of Test Centre and Subjectopted by the candidate in the Application Form will not be considered under any circumstances.

b. When the number of registered candidates for any test are below 200, the test will be conductedat Visakhapatnam centre only. Andhra University reserves the right to: (i) allot a Centre other than thecandidate’s choice, (ii) conduct or not to conduct any test and (iii) cancel a Test/Test - Centre based onthe number of candidates opted for the Test / Test Centre.

c. When the number of applications are less than the number of seats for any test , the test will not beconducted and admissions will be made based on the marks obtained in qualifying degree.

d Tests for 5 - Year Integrated Dual degree programmes will be conducted at 01. VISAKHAPATNAM,08. VIJAYAWADA, TEST CENTERS ON 15-05-2011.VII. TEST PROCEDURE:

1. The Syllabi for the entrance test is placed in the Andhra University website www.andhrauniversity.info/doa2. Candidates are advised to come to the Examinationhall at least half-an hour before the commencement

of the Test.3. Candidates will not be admitted into the examination hall without hall-ticket or after the commencement

of the Test. They will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the stipulated time.4. Calculators, pagers, cell phones, books, papers, logarithm tables, slide-rule or any other calculating aids

are NOT ALLOWED into the Examinationhall.5. Candidates should answer on the candidate specific ( with candidate name, HAll Ticket Number and

photo) OMR ANSWER SHEET only.6. The Chief Superintendent of the testcentre can take disciplinary action on candidates involved in indiscipline,

malpractice, impersonation, etc., and the answer scripts of such candidates will not be valued.VIII. RANK:1. All candidates appeared for the Entrance Test will be awarded AUCET-2011 test-wise Rank as per marks

secured in the test appeared. EACH WRONG ANSWER ENTAILS A DEDUCTION OF 1/4 MARK.2. In case of a tie between candidates securing the same marks in a test, the order of merit will be decided

on the basis of marks obtained in Part-A of the Test. In case of a further tie, the marks obtained by thecandidate in Part-B shall be taken into account. If the tie continues, the date of birth of the candidateshall be taken into account, with priority to older candidate.

3. Rank card will be sent to the candidates under certificate of posting. A duplicate Rank card can beobtained at Directorate of Admissions, Visakhapatnam on payment of Rs.100/- in cash or by D.D. infavour of the Director, AUCET-2011, Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University, Visakhapatnamby furnishing a copy of the hall-ticket.

IX. ADMISSION INFORMATION:1. Admission shall be based on the AUCET-2011 Rank, subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria as given

in Appendix- I. For courses, colleges and no. of seats Appendix - II & Appendix - III may be referred.2. The venue and admission schedule will be intimated along with the rank cards and also will be made

available in the web sites of the concerned universities, accordingly and also will be available in thewebsite (website www.andhrauniversity.info/doa and www.brau.in).

3. The university shall not be responsible for either non-receipt or delayed receipt of communications in thisregard.

4. Information regarding college-wise, course-wise and reservation category-wise seat distribution and feestructure will be made available by the respective universities after declaration of AUCET-2011 results onthe respective web sites (www.andhrauniversity.info/doa and www.brau.in).

5. At the time of admission candidates should produce the following original certificates in support of thequalification and reservations claimed in the application for verification. If the candidate gets admissioninto a particular course he should submit a set of xerox copies along with a draft for the requisite amountof fees drawn on any Nationalised Bank in the name of Admission Account, Directorate of Admissions,Andhra University and payable at Visakhapatnam.(i) AUCET-2011 Rank card & Hall Ticket.(ii) Degree / Provisional Pass Certificate.(iii) Consolidated Marks statement of the Qualifying Examination.(iv) Transfer and Conduct Certificate from the institution where the candidate last studied. Candidates

who have completed / studied already or discontinued and seeking admission to second PG orprofessional course should submit TC relating to first PG course only. Duplicate TC relating to UG /PG degree should be accompanied by proper evidence of loss of original TC, police complaint.Candidates submitting false TC are liable for cancellation of seat at any stage and are liable forprosecution.

(v) Migration Certificate, (for other Universities)

(vi) Date of Birth Certificate (SSC/Matriculation or equivalent Certificate).(vii) Study Certificates for the last seven years or Residence Certificate for preceeding seven years of the

qualifying examination.(viii) Intermediate original certificate.(ix) Integrated Community Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of SC/ST/BC/EBC/ Minority

candidates.(x) Valid latest income certificate issued by M.R.O./ Thasildar if fee concession is claimed (the validity of

income certificate is for one year from the date of issue).(xi) 4 recent passport size Photos.(xii) Candidates opting for admission under NCC/Sports/CAP/PH/NSS quota shall produce relevant original

certificate, in addition to the above.(xiii) Physical fitness certificate from a Asst. Civil Surgeon.(xiv) One set of Photostat copies of all the above certificates.

6. Once the admission procedure is completed, including fee payment the admitted candidate will get allhis/her Original certificates back except T.C., C.C. and Migration certificate.

7. (a) The concerned university reserves the right to deny entry into AUCET-2011 if the University finds theantecedents of the candidate are bad. If the University finds the antecedents of the candidates arebad subsequent to the appearance of AUCET-2011, his/her rank can be cancelled and the candidatecan be denied admission into any program under AUCET-2011 or admission can be cancelled even ifadmission is given

(b) All the admissions are purely provisional and the university concerned reserves the right to cancel theadmission at any stage.

8. Guidelines for admission:a) Admission will be given to only those students who submit C.C, T.C, P.C. and D.D. at the time

of counseling. Without any of these certificates admission will not be given.b) The conversion of reserved / special category seats into other category will not be made in the first

phase.c) The student has to select the course of study at the time of counselling for admission. Sliding from one

college to another college or from one course to another course in the same test will not be allowed inthe first phase. However, sliding is allowed to a candidate joined in a particular course of one test toanother course of a different test as per rank order in first counselling if any. An amount of Rs.300/- hasto be paid for every sliding.

d) Candidates who did not claim their reservation / special category at the time of submission of theirapplications will also be allowed under that particular category subject to production of originalcertificates.

e) If seats under Other States quota in M.Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology, M.Sc. Coastal Aquaculture andMarine Biotechnology, M.Sc. Space Physics, M.Sc. (Tech.) VLSI Design and M.Sc. (Tech.) DSP &ESD are not filled they shall be converted to regular seats under open category.

f) Cancellation of seats: Cancellation of seats will be made with 90% refund of total fee prescribedbefore completion of first phase of counseling and 80% refund of the total fee prescribed beforecompletion of second phase counseling and with no fee refund after second phase of counseling.

g) Late comers for the counseling on the scheduled date will be considered for counseling only for theremaining available seats.

9(a) For 5 - year Integrated, Dual Degree Programmes: ( With Entrance Test Apendex-II for Syllabus )a) Admissions into B.E. +M.E./B.Tech. +M.Tech. 5 Year Integrated Dual Degree, P.G. Degree Programmes

will be processed as per rank order obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by Directorate ofAdmissions, A.U.

b) The Candidates admitted into these Programmes will be awarded B.E. +M.E./B.Tech. +M.Tech.Degrees after successful completion of 5-Year course.

c) The Programmes will be run in semester pattern with internal assessment and continuous evaluationin practicals.

d) There will be no provision for the students to discontinue at the end of 3rd or 4th year to claim analternative degree.

9(b) Twinning Programmes :(i) B.Engg. - Aircraft Engineering : A 4-year twinning program with Perth College, UK. (With

Entrance Test - Appendix-II for Syllabus):a) This program is introduced to facilitate direct entry to second year of the B.Engg. - Aircraft Engineering

course at Perth College, U.K, and to encourage collaborative activity with it.b) Admission into this course will be processed as per the rank order obtained in the entrance test

conducted by Directorate of admissions, A.U.c) Under this program, students will take instructions for first two semesters at A.U. and the remaining

at Perth University, U.Kd) Each candidate must qualify in IELTS/TOEFL examination and submit the score before the end of first

semister.e) Fee Per year is 4050 , 6200 & 6800 (UK Pounds for the First, Second and Third Years Respectively.(ii) B.E. Electromechanical Engineering : A 4 -year twinning program with Group-T University

of Belgium. (With Entrance Test - Apendix-II for Syllabus):a) This Twinning Programme is jointly offered by Andhra University and Group-T University of Belgium.b) Admission into this course will be given as per the rank order obtained in the entrance test conducted

by the Directorate of admissions, A.U.c) The Candidate will study first and second years in the Department of Mechnaical Engineering, Andhra

University and third and fourth years in the Group-T University of Belgium (Europe.)d) B.E. Degree will be awarded by both the Universities after successful completion of the 4-year course.e) Fee is tentatively fixed at Rs. 2.0 Lakhs per year.

10. Master of Finance & Control :a) M.F.C (Master of Finance and Control) Programme, sponsored by a renowned MNC, Capital IQ, it is

offered by the Department of Commerce & Management Studies, Andhra University with industryintegration. MFC Programme is designed with 100% placement opportunities to the successfulcandidates. Live projects, summer intermship with stipend and regular interface with the practitionersin the industry are the unique features of the programme. Semester wise performance based MeritScholarship will be awarded by capital IQ to provide partial financial assistance.

b) For MFC course Admission will be made on the basis of 1) Admission Test, 2) Group Discussion and3) Personal Interview. The selected candidates have to sign 2 year service agreement with Capital IQat the time of admission into the MFC course.

11. General Regulations during study of the course:a) As per the UGC guidelines all Candidates admitted into the various courses of study are required to

put in a minimum of 75% of class room attendance. Candidates not securing a minimum of 75%attendance should repeat the course. The name of a student who continuously remains absent for aperiod of 10 days from the date of admission without valid reason and intimation to the concernedHead of the department shall be removed from the rolls.

b) Candidates admitted into full-time (day) courses should not undertake any assignment /employmentor study of any other course simultaneously (except evening diploma course where he/she has to getno objection certificate) and any violation leads to cancellation of admission.

c) Payment of residential scholarships in respect of eligible students of all reserved categories is conditionalon their putting a minimum attendance of 75% in the college in each quarter. If the candidate puts inless than 75% of attendance for valid reasons, he/she shall be paid scholarship in proportion to theattendance. Those who are absent themselves without valid reasons will not be paid any scholarship.

d) Examinations shall be conducted at the end of each Semester. No supplementary examination willbe conducted.

e) RAGGING in any form by any student will make him/her liable for expulsion/punishment as per A.P.Ragging Act 26 of 1997 and subsequent Supreme Court verdict.

f) Only limited Hostel accommodation is available. Hostel admission is subject to the rules in forcefrom time to time. Candidates under self-finance category will be considered for hostel accommodationsubject to availability of seats only after accommodating students under regular category. With adifferent Hostel fee structure.

12. RESERVATION OF SEATS:Admission into various courses of study shall be made on the basis of AUCET-2011 Rank and eligibilitycriteria subject to the rule of reservation as detailed below:

A. LOCAL CANDIDATES:In every course of study 85% of the available seats are reserved in favour of the Local Candidates from thedistricts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Gunturand Prakasam belonging to Andhra University area and students from Kurnool Silver Jubilee College andSri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam (Tirupathi).

A candidate shall be regarded as a local candidate in relation to a local area (AU/OU/SVU);1.1 If he/she has studied in an educational institution or educational institutions in such local area for aperiod of not less than four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/sheappeared or first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination as the case may be; OR1.2 Where, during the whole or any part of the four consecutive academic years in which he/she appeared,or first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination, he/she has not studied in any educational institutions,if he/she resided in that local area for a period of not less than four years immediately preceeding the dateof commencement of the relevant qualifying examination in which he/she appeared, or first appeared, asthe case may be.

2. A candidate who is not regarded as local candidate under clause (1.1) above in relation to any local areashall be regarded as a local candidate of AU/OU/SVU.2.1 If he/she has studied in the educational institutions in the state for a period of not less than sevenconsecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or first appearedfor the relevant qualifying examination as the case may be, be regarded as a local candidate in relation to(i) Such local area where he/she has studied for the maximum period out of the period of seven years;or (ii) Where the period of his/her study in two or more local areas is equal, such local area where he/shestudied last in such equal periods; OR2.2 If during the whole or any part of the seven consecutive academic years ending with the academicyear in which he/she appeared or first appeared for the relevant qualifying examinations, he/she notstudied in the educational institutions, in any local area, but has resided in the State during the whole ofthe said period of seven years, be regarded as a local Candidate in relation to (i) Such local area wherehe/she has resided for the maximum period out of the said period of seven years; or (ii) Where theperiod of his/her residence in two or more local areas is equal, such local area where he she has residedlast in such equal periods.

3. The remaining 15% of unreserved seats can be competed by the categories mentioned below:a) All candidates defined as “Locals” of Andhra University area, andb) The following categories of candidates who are defined as “Non-locals” for the present purpose: (i) All

candidates, who are locals for Osmania and Sri Venkateswara University areas. (ii) Candidates whohave resided in the State of Andhra Pradesh for a total period of ten years, excluding periods of studyoutside the State; or either of whose parents have resided in the State for a period of ten yearsexcluding periods of employment outside the State. (iii)Candidates who are spouses/children of thosein the employment of the State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies,Universities, Educational Institutions recognised by the Government and similar State or quasiGovernment Institutions within the State. A Certificate to that effect from the Head of the Institution orDepartment should be enclosed.

B. OTHER CATEGORIES OF RESERVATION:The allocation of percentage of seats as detailed below is as per G.O.M.S.No.184, Education (EC-2)Department, dt. 20-8-1993, and G.O.M.S.No.116 SW(CV-1) dt. 10-12-1999 as amended uptodate:(a) Scheduled Castes (SC):15%; Scheduled Tribes (ST): 6%; Listed Backward Classes (BC: 29%, A-

7%, B-10%, C-1%, D-7% and E-4%)(b) NCC: 1%; Sports: 0.5%; Children of Armed Forces Personnel (CAP): 2% of seats be filled by horizontal

method of reservation.(c) PH: 3% of seats be filled by following horizontal method of reservation. In the absence of suitable PH

candidates in the respective categories, these seats will be filled-in with other candidates of the samecategory.

(d) 33.33% of the seats in each course shall be reserved in favour of women candidates in eachcategory. This rule of reservation shall not be applicable if women candidates selected on merit ineach category form 33.33% or more of the seats therein. In the absence of eligible women candidatesin categories of SC, ST, BC Groups A, B, C, D, E, CAP, NCC, PH and Sports, those seats will be filledin with men candidates of the same category. (G.O.M.S.no.184, dt. 20-8-1993);

(e) The number of seats reserved under various categories shall be calculated on the total seats availablein the respective units given below as per the existing rules of the respective universities: If there isany fraction in the calculation of seats under reservation for various categories, it should be roundedoff to the nearest number without affecting the sanctioned strength.i) All Science courses offered by respective university campus colleges and P.G.Centers are taken

as one unit each.

ii) All Science courses offered by all colleges under the Government and Private management affiliatedto AU & BRAU are taken as one unit each.

iii) All Arts courses offered by campus colleges/PG Centers of the respective universities are takenas one unit each.

iv) All Arts Courses offered by all colleges under the Government and Private management affiliatedto AU & BRAU are taken as one unit each.

v) 5 year Integrated MS Programmes offerred in AU,Campus colleges are taken as one unit each.(f) 1% supernumerary seats in each course are available in A.U. Campus to candidates belonging to AU

NSS candidates. The selection of the candidates for the NSS categories will be made under thefollowing three categories i.e., A, B, C.

“A” Grade:The volunteer should fulfill the Tasks and Targets of two years service along with SpecialCamp participation and represented the Nation in the International Event in NSS activities OR recipient ofIndira Gandhi National NSS Award OR participant in the Republic Day Parade Camp in New Delhi.“B” Grade:The volunteer should fulfill the Tasks and Targets of Two years service along with SpecialCamp participation and participated in the National Integration Camp. Pre-R.D. Camp, Inter-CollegiateCamp, Youth Leadership Training Camp winners of the district, University Youth Festivals, recipients ofDistrict/University level NSS Best Service Awards.“C” Grade:The volunteer should fulfill the Tasks and Targets of two years service and participationin the Special Camping Programme.(g) 5% supernumerary seats in each course are available in Campus colleges of the participating

Universities to candidates belonging to Other States. To consider a candidate under Other Statescategory, the candidate should have studied in any state other than A.P. and be a native of a placeoutside A.P.

(h) 15% supernumerary seats are available in Campus colleges of the participating Universities Collegesto Foreign students in each course as per the D.O.No.F.1-30/94 (CPP-11) of UGC subject to theireligibility. Such candidates need not appear for the Entrance Test. Their applications will be consideredunder separate fee structure applicable to foreign students.

C. PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION TO RESERVED SEATS: (i) SC, ST and LBC (A, B, C, D, E) seats will be filled as per the order of merit (Rank) in each category. (ii) In case of special reservation, University will constitute expert committees with competent

1. For all Tests, except Test Nos. 205 (Fine Arts), 214 (Political Science and Public Administration) and 221 (M.P.Ed.)the candidate has to answer 90 multiple choice questions in 75 minutes. Each question contains four alternativeanswers (a, b, c, d). The candidate must mark the answer on OMR Sheet and should not answer any where on theTest booklet.
