15 September 2020 2020 PRIMARY 5 SEMESTER ASSESSMENT (SA) 2 Dear Parents/Guardians, 1. This letter is regarding details of the SA2 time-table and assessment scope which can also

be found in ANNEX A. You can also find a copy of the time-table and assessment scope on our school website.

2. All e-CCAs will be suspended from 29 Sept 2020 (Tue) and resume on 3 Nov 2020 (Tue). 3. All examination scripts will be returned to your child/ward latest by 9 Nov 2020 (Mon). Your

child/ward will be receiving his/her report slip and report book on 20 Nov 2020 (Fri).

4. The school seeks the cooperation of all parents/guardians to monitor the progress of your child/ward and to ensure that he/she has adequate rest during this assessment period.

5. Students who are absent from SA2 must produce a medical certificate or have a valid reason(s)

(to be approved by the school). Their marks would then be computed based on this consideration. However, students who are absent from SA2 without a valid reason will be marked as being ‘absent’ without valid reason. Students will not be awarded any marks for the examination that they have missed

6. There will be no make-up exam for students who miss any SA2 paper. In view of enacting assessments for a more formative use, parents/guardians may request for your child/ward to attempt the SA2 paper as a form of practice and for receiving the teacher’s feedback

7. All P5 students will be dismissed earlier at 12.30 p.m. during the SA2 period from 26 Oct 2020 (Mon) to 30 Oct 2020 (Fri). Normal dismissal time will resume from 2 Nov 2020 (Mon) onwards.

8. Please also be reminded that our post-SA2 School Admin Day is scheduled on 6 Nov 2020

(Fri). There is be no school for all P1 to P6 students on that day. 9. Should you have any query, please e-mail your child’s/ward’s Form Teacher or the HOD-in-
