Hospitals in surrounding states send their surplus medical equipment and supplies to Rotary’s Medical Supplies Network, Inc. Each month approximately 8,500 pounds of medical equipment and supplies are shipped from our Tulsa warehouse to a developing nation some- where in the world. MSNI also keeps some of this equipment for local use. Get involved with MSNI by helping out from time to time at the MSNI warehouse. It’s located near 11th and S. Erie. Tulsa OK. Spend a few hours repacking small supplies and marking inventory sheets needed for shipping and customs. Nothing heavy, nothing hard. But this absolutely affects lives overseas. While there, see what MSNI has in the warehouse. If you know of a need in your area MSNI can meet, let it be known. Most likely it will made available at no cost. The kind of items you’ll be counting and putting into boxes might be packages of syringes, boxes of needles, catheters, boxes of gloves, surgical blankets and a multitude of other items clinics and hospitals overseas are in need of.
