I have worked as UX/UI Designer since 2010 especially for SaaS and E­commerce websites. The first step that I take is to make a good strategy combining users’ needs and business’ goals. I used to work with these tools regarding the UX and the UI: Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Sketch, MarvelAPP, InVision, Optimizely, VWO, Hotjar, Axure, Balsamiq, Google Experiment and Google Analytics. I know perfectly these coding languages: HTML5, CSS3, JQuery. Other skills that I handle perfectly are: Boostrap, Responsive design and code, Magento CMS, JIRA, Basecamp, ASANA. I also have the Magento Front­end Developer certification and I have been working in the e­commerce field for almost 4 years. I improve constantly my knowledge and skills, I am curious person and I also like to work in a team to learn more. I have often worked in agile environment. I am also punctual, creative and precise.

Title: Senior UX/UI Designer Time period: February 2017 ­ May 2017 (4 months) Description: Efaqt is a E­learning platform in which a user can organize better the flow of his study creating Flashcards, notes, mindmaps, summaries and more. Efaqt is a Dutch StartUp based in Amsterdam (Barbara Strozzilaan 101). As a Senior UX/UI designer I am in charge of all the User Experience, User flows, Data analysis, A/B Testing, User interface design (Sketches, Mockups, Prototyping and testing).

Title: UX/UI Designer, Art Director TIme Period: July 2011 ­ January 2013 Description: It is a local online information company, it owns almost 40 websites for all the principal cities in Italy and 9+ million of fan in their Facebook page. Here I was responsible for the UX/UI Designer and Art direction. The biggest works that I have done for them was the restyling of the Back­end and Front­end: especially regarding to the Homepage and the Article page. In these pages I analyzed the data coming from Google Analytics and I made hypothesis on what could be improved, realizing did sketches, wireframes and mockups. My purpose was to improve the “Average session duration”.

Title: UX/UI Designer, Web Designer Time Period: December 2010 ­ May 2011 Description: It was the first European “Smart Buying Club” and the third italian couponing website. It was a club of exclusive deals with special prices, only for registered users. Here I covered the role of UX Designer and Web Designer. My main responsability was to improve the usability of the deals section, the primary goal was to increase conversions.

Title: Senior UX/UI Designer, Magento Certified Front­end Developer, Web Designer and Founder TIme Period: January 2010 ­ Now Description: Freelancer since 2010, my personal portfolio is 2brains.it. I collaborate with institutions such as F.A.O. (Food and Agriculture Organization) and web agencies like Iblend (iblend.it). I create custom websites for several private customers, such as medical schools, master of osteopathy, congress of animal practice, italian society of veterinary and more. Some latest responsive websites are for example ristorantegeco.it, incucinaroma.it, guesthousemeltinsounds.com, escursionigep.it I create these sites in Wordpress, Magento or HTML and our priority is to make the users comfortable with the navigation experience and to write a flexible and adaptable code with the languages code that I know.

DESIGN PROCESS

I deliver an useful, usable and valuable product following these steps: 1 ­ Strategy | Combine User needs and Business goals 2 ­ Scope | Functional specs and Content requirements 3 ­ Structure| Interaction Design and Information Architecture (IA) 4 ­ Skeleton| Interface Design and Navigation Design 5 ­ Surface | Visual Design To make these points work, I need to make a strategic UX Research, it means take interviews with Stakeholder and Users, then Review competitors and analyze quantitative data. After this, I think about what can be improved (Features, Design etc.) and then I prioritize what can make the website/product more valuable for both the user and the business, a product that match or exceed their expectations. To understand better the audience I create Personas and Scenarios and then I start with the Information architecture, interaction design, navigation design and interface design. I am able to create sketches, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. When the website is finished I run A/B tests and heat­maps recording sessions to improve constantly the product.
