For all of us at Teckwah, this period was a bitter-sweet time. We were happy because our 47th year coincided with Singapore’s Jubilee. It was a sad time because our nation’s founder, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, was not with us for the Jubilee celebrations and Teckwah’s founder, Mr Chua Seng Tek, was likewise, not with us for our celebrations. Although Mr Chua has left us, his spirit will continue to live on in our organisational culture and core values.

This year was Caixun’s 26th anniversary. Caixun’s editorial team organised a commemorative celebration with an exhibition of past issues. A special video, games and prizes enticed many staff to attend the event. Besides learning about the progress of Caixun from its inaugural issue till the present, staff also got an understanding of Teckwah’s exciting journey. This issue of CaiXun is our new design, have you noticed?

To celebrate with all Singaporeans the Golden Jubilee, Teckwah’s staff committees also organised a big-scale outing to the Singapore Flyer and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry SG50 Special Exhibition, “47 Hill Street” which was held there. The exhibition enabled us to learn about the history of our nation-building. Staff also went up the Singapore Flyer to enjoy the view and to admire the horizon while appreciating the fact that Teckwah’s and our nation’s development are closely interwoven.

Highlights of the Results:

• Print-related business accounted for 60% of the Group’s revenue and Non-print contributed the balance 40%

• Singapore operations remained the top revenue contributor at 64.6% with China the second largest at 25.1%.

• The increase in revenue achieved by both Print and Non-print businesses was mainly due to higher demand from existing customers. The increase in Operating Profit before Tax was due to increased demands as well as cost savings achieved after the relocation to Pixel Red which was incurred in the same period last year.

• Commenting on the competitive conditions of the industry in which we operate that might affect us in the next reporting period and the next 12 months, Thomas Chua, our Chairman & Managing Director, said “ The improved results were due to a combination of higher revenue from customers and cost saving from operating at Pixel Red and Iskandar. Management is, however, mindful that the global economic outlook remains uncertain and would continue to take steps to be competitive and seek new upstream activities to widen revenue source.”

Teckwah Trading (HK) Limited was established in 2007. It is located in Kwai Chung, an urban area in the New Territories of Hong Kong, which is the site of the container port, 27km from Hong Kong International Airport. Recently, we consolidated various operations into our main hub which is now a distribution centre providing warehousing and fulfilment services globally. The products we handle include service parts, instrumental devices, electronic toys, computers, accessories and other electronic devices.

With no barriers to trade, a duty free trading port and well-established infrastructure in Hong Kong, customers can leverage on Teckwah Asia Pacific’s network to deliver their goods globally.

The Singapore Food Manufacturers’ Association (SFMA), a professional and active trade association formed in 1967 by like-minded local food manufacturers, visited Teckwah on the 02 July. The visit, led by the President of SFMA, Thomas Pek, was to understand Teckwah’s practices and view the company’s premises. Hosted by the business development team, members of SFMA were introduced to a brief history of Teckwah and current packaging trends. Thereafter, they were brought on a plant tour showcasing Teckwah’s capabilities.

The visit was a first for many to view a local printing manufacturing plant. It ended with a networking session accompanied by light refreshments in the multi-purpose hall.

About National Human Resources Scholarship

This scholarship was initiated by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) in 2011 to raise awareness of the importance of HR, and elevate this profession in Singapore. The scholarship aims to groom HR talents for companies and seeks to build a pipeline of talent with a strong passion for HR. The scholarship will cover the scholar’s tuition fees, monthly allowances as well as approved training and development programmes. The bond period is between 2 and 3 years depending on the scholarship duration.

5Lim Ming Shiang, a recipient of Teckwah – MOM joint National Human Resource Scholarship, underwent his internship programme with Teckwah. He was in the Human Resource Department from 29 June 2015 to 14 August 2015.

Below is his comment on being an intern in Teckwah:

My internship with Teckwah had been a unique and fulfilling learning experience. During the seven weeks in Teckwah, I have acquired skills and knowledge that went beyond textbooks.

During the attachment, my superiors and colleagues treated me warmly so that I could quickly integrate into the company’s culture. The environment in the HR department was also very cordial and I could clarify doubts without any reservations.

In a nutshell, this internship broadened my learning horizon and bridged the gap between classroom theories and actual working experience. I am tremendously thankful to the Ministry of Manpower and Teckwah for offering this invaluable opportunity and support. I am looking forward to joining the company in the near future!

Koh Xin Zhi Callista and Kouk Qing Yuan from Ngee Ann Polytechnic are the recipients of Teckwah Logistics Scholarship. They excelled in their second year examinations and had exhibited exemplary conduct.

They are currently undergoing their internship programme with Teckwah from 07 September 2015 to 06 February 2016.

Callista (second from left) is assigned to Teckwah Logistics. During her attachment, she will handle the daily reports to track and trace every individual order, cascade jobs or provide information to the logistics partners. She will also be working closely with the ICT team on the tracking and tracing system enhancement.

Qing Yuan (right), meanwhile, is assigned to JNE Logistics Singapore.

Her tasks include Warehouse Management,

Order Processing and Fulfilment by using in-

house system. She will also handle queries from customers and partners.

Rebecca Chong(left), recipient of the NYP-Teckwah Scholarship is currently undergoing her internship programme with the Digital Solution Team of Teckwah Value Chain from 29 June to 18 September 2015.

Rebecca, a third year student at Nanyang Polytechnic pursuing her diploma in Visual Communication, received the scholarship in 2013. She was selected for her good GCE “O” level results, good CCA record, exemplary conduct and strong passion for the visual communication disciplines.

After being attached to the digital solution team for 2 months, here’s what Rebecca has to say on her experience.

Working in Teckwah has been an enriching and eye-opening experience for me. Everyone here has been very welcoming and has helped me tremendously in getting to know how processes

work. I have learnt a lot about how to manage my time as well as the importance of details.

Teckwah has adopted the 5S practice for more than 30 years. We will not just be continuing to do the fundamental good housekeeping which is the ‘1st, 2nd and 3rd Ss’. We need to progress to the ‘4th and 5th Ss’ which are as follows:

4th S: Seiketsu - Standardize / organise methodology to do things at your workplace.

5th S: Shitsuke - Showing discipline & graciousness. E.g. smile and greet each other.

The 5S Committee will be organising various activities, such as, awareness building and publicity initiatives, training, walkabouts, departmental 5S competition and lots more to bring Teckwahers forward to these stages. We want to make ‘5S Part of Teckwahers’ Way of Life’.

Celebrating Birthdaysthe Digital and Fun Way!

The Digital Solution Team launched a Birthday Campaign in August. Built on the team’s technology, the system sends a Happy Birthday wish in the form of an EDM /SMS in the month of the staff’s birthday, together with a gift selection for the staff. Staff have the choice of the standard cash gift option of $5 or a mystery option with gifts ranging from $0-$50. After making the selection, staff will receive a personalised birthday card together with their gift according to what they have chosen.

Queenie Yee from ICT said, “I was pleased to join in the lucky dip for the mystery birthday gift and am delighted that Teckwah has organised this novel Birthday Campaign. I’m very happy that I won a pair of movie tickets!”

Mid-Autumn festival, or zhongqiu jie in Chinese, is one of the many festivals that Chinese around the world celebrate. As the festival name implies, it falls on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, in the middle of autumn.

There are many legends surrounding this festival. However, the mid-autumn festival celebrates three fundamental concepts which are closely tied to one another:• Gathering, such as family and friends coming together, or harvesting crops for the festival• Thanksgiving, for the harvest, or for harmonious unions• Praying (asking for spiritual or material satisfaction), such as for babies, a spouse, beauty, longevity, or for a good future

Making and sharing mooncakes is one of the hallmark traditions of this festival. In Chinese culture, a round shape symbolises completeness and unity. Thus, the sharing and

Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrationeating of round mooncakes among family members during the week of the festival signify the completeness and unity of families.

A notable part of the festival is the carrying of brightly lit lanterns. It is difficult to unearth the original purpose of lanterns in connection with the festival, but it has been used to symbolise fertility, and functions mainly as a toy and decoration. Today the lantern has come to be associated with the festival itself.

On 23 September, Teckwahers gathered in the multi-purpose hall for simple afternoon tea and moon-cake tasting. The event was organised by the Staff Club, not only to celebrate the festival but also as an occasion for staff interaction.

Wow! What an experience to be up here! I can see the beautiful Singapore River,

Raffles Place, Merlion Park, Empress Place!

I can see Marina Barrage, Gardens by the Bay,

Floating Platform and the Sports Hub! The skyline and

shoreline are incredible.

The magnificent view we see here is such a contrast with the photos we saw just now at the Special

Exhibition put up by SCCCI at level 1. Those photos captured Singapore 50 years ago.

Singapore has transformed in the 50 years since

independence; from what we saw at the exhibition to what

we are seeing from the capsule of the Flyer.

This is Teckwah’s way of celebrating SG50!

What’s more? There is a sumptuous buffet

dinner for all of us!

这一季,对德华人来说,是个悲喜交加的季节。

喜的是,今年德华47周年厂庆恰逢新加坡建国50年金喜;悲的是,恰如建国总理李光耀再也无法出席国庆庆典,德华创始人蔡承泽先生也无法再参加我们的厂庆了。蔡承泽先生虽然永远地离开了我们,但他的精神将永远活在我们的企业文化和核心价值观中。

今年恰逢《彩讯》创刊26周年,《彩讯》编委在Pixel Red 多功能厅(Multi-Purpose Room)举行了回顾展,除了展出从创刊号开始的全部《彩讯》,还有录像和有奖猜谜,吸引了众多德华员工前来参观, 不但回顾了《彩讯》排版设计的历次更新,也从中了解德华这几十年来的精彩历程。 本期《彩讯》是新的设计, 你留意到了吗?

为了和全国民众共同欢庆新加坡50周年金喜,德华五个员工委员会联合举办了大型户外活动,带领员工观看反映新加坡中华总商会历史的“禧街47号”多媒体特展, 回顾先辈建国的事迹。全体员工还登上摩天轮,放眼海内外壮丽景观,从更大的格局体悟德华的发展和新加坡的发展息息相关。

财务摘要:

• 印刷相关的业务占集团总营业额的60%,而非印刷 业务占40%。

• 新加坡仍是集团的最大收入来源,带来了64.6%的 营业额,其次中国业务占了25.1%。

• 印刷业务和非印刷业务的营业额同时增长,主要得 益于现有客户的需求增长。税前盈利的增长一方面 是由于需求的增加,另一方面是由于在去年同期将 总部搬至Pixel Red,节约了成本。

新加坡食品厂商联合会(SFMA) 是一个活跃的专业贸易协会,由一群志同道合的本地食品制造商在1967年成立, 7月2日在SFMA会长白毅柏率领下到访德华, 旨在了解德华的运营并参观德华的设施。德华业务发展部门负责这次接待并向嘉宾们介绍了德华的历史和当前包装趋势,随后带领他们参观了德华的工厂以了解德华的生产能力。

许多访客还是第一次参观本地印刷制造厂。参观 后大家齐聚多功能厅(Multi-Purpose Room) 享用茶点。

关于“全国人力资源奖学金”

这项奖学金是人力部(MOM)在2011年推出,旨在提高对人力资源重要性的认识,并在新加坡推广这一职业领域。奖学金旨在为企业培育人力资源方面的优秀人才,力求使有才华的学生对HR产生极大的热情。奖学金包括获奖者的学费、每月津贴以及获批的培训和发展课程。服务合约期限为2到3年,取决于领取奖学金的时间长短。

林明翔是德华与人力部共同颁发的“全国人力资源奖学金”得主,他也曾是德华的实习生。他从 6月29日至 8月14日在人力资源部门实习。

以下是他的实习感言:

我在德华的实习是一种独特而充实的学习体验。在德华的7个星期里,我学到了教书上无法教授的知识和技能。

在实习期间,我的上司和同事们对我非常热情,让我可以很快融入公司的文化。人力资源部的工作环境也很亲善,我可以毫无保留地澄清任何疑虑。

简单地说,这次实习开拓了我的知识面,并且弥补了课堂理论与实际工作经验之间的差距。我非常感谢人力部和德华为我提供的这次宝贵的机会和支持。我很期待在不久的将来加入这个公司!

来自义安理工学院的许馨之和郭庆圆是德华物流奖学金得主。 他们第二学年的考试成绩优异,而且品行良好。

他们目前正在德华实习,实习期从2015年9月7日至2016年 2月6日。

间,她需要处理日常报表、追踪查询每个订单、集合工单或者向物流合作伙伴提供信息。她也需要

跟ICT团队密切合作,改进现有的追踪和查询系统。

庆圆(右)被分配到JNE后勤服务。她的工作包括运用内部系统进行仓库管理、处理和履行订单。她同时还要处理来自客户和

合作伙伴的咨询。

莊淑琦(左)是NYP-Teckwah奖学金得主,目前正在德华价值链的数码解决方案团队中实习,实习期从6月29日至9月18日。

淑琦是南洋理工学院视觉传达专业三年级的学生,她于2013年获得该奖学金。她当选的原因是由于优秀的‘O’水准考试成绩、良好的课外活动记录、模范行为以及对视觉传达学科的热忱 。

在数码解决方案团队实习了两个月之后,淑琦是这样评论她的经历的。

在德华工作让我获得了丰富的经验,开拓了视野。每个人都对我非常热情,极大地帮助我了解工作流程。我在如何管理时间,以及细节的

德华实行5S已经超过30年了。我们不仅要坚持最基本的打扫卫生好习惯 - 也就是5S里的首三个S (整理,整顿,清扫),还需要提升到第四个和第五个S,它们是:

数码庆生, 欢乐有趣!

数码解决方案团队在八月推出了“数码庆生活动”。基于团队的技术,系统将以EDM或者简讯的形式向当月生日的员工发送生日祝福,同时还特别为他们准备礼物。员工可以选择5元购物礼券,或以抽签方式选择神秘礼物,其价值从0到50元不等。

来自ICT的余善盈说道,“我很高兴能参与抽取神秘的生日礼物,德华举办这种新颖的庆生活动给我带来了惊喜。很开心我抽到了两张电影票!”

中中秋节是全球华人庆祝的诸多节日之一。它是每年的农历八月十五,从名字上看,中秋这天也是秋季的中间。

关于这个节日流传着很多传说。不过,中秋节的庆祝总离不开以下三个方面,它们之间也是密切相关:• 团圆,指的是家人和朋友聚在一起,或在这个节日里一起 收割庄稼• 感恩,感恩庄稼的收获,或者感恩和谐的家庭• 祈福(祈求精神或物质的满足),例如求子、求姻缘、求 美貌、求长寿或者求前途似锦。

制作并分享月饼是这个节日的传统标志之一。在华人文化里,圆象征着完整和团结。因此,在中秋节的那个礼拜,与家人一起分享圆圆的月饼,象征着家庭的完整和团结。

中秋节庆祝活动

这个节日的一个重要组成部分是提灯笼。中秋节要提灯笼的真正意义已经无从考证,不过现在通常用它来象征孕育,主要 用作玩具和装饰品。如今,灯笼已经与这个节日的本身紧密 关联。

哇!这里的景色太棒啦!我能看到美丽的新加坡河、莱佛士坊、鱼尾狮公园以及皇后坊!

我可以看到滨海堤坝、滨海湾花园、浮动舞台和体育城!天际线和海岸线的景色简直让人叹为观止。

这里看到的壮丽景色,与我们在新加坡中华总商会一楼特殊展览中看到的照片差别太大了。那是新加坡50年前的照片。

新加坡自独立50年以来发生了巨大的变化;从我们在展览中看到的样子变成了现在我们在这个摩天轮的缆车厢里看到的样子。

这是用德华的方式来庆祝新加坡五十周年国庆!

今年八月《彩讯》就26岁了!自1989年8月以来,《彩讯》已经成为我们重要的交流工具。为了纪念这个重要的里程碑,编辑委员会在8月21日举办了一场展览,展出了历来所有的《彩讯》 。同事们站在展示架周围,翻阅过往期刊,感受并了解在以前是如何通过《彩讯》来分享信息。看到同事们一起回顾往往昔的种种活动,辨认旧照片上同事年轻时候的模样,让人感到十分温馨。

编辑委员会也制作了一段简短的视频,邀请往届编辑委员会的成员和大家分享他们的经验、曾经面对的挑战和欢乐时光。展览还设立了有奖问答台,参观者只要正确回答有关 《彩讯》的历史,往届编委会以及版面变革等一系列问题,就能赢得奖品。

这项午餐期间举办的活动参观人数令人满意,最吸引人的当属免费冰淇淋了,员工们排成长龙等待领取。许多人也积极参加在活动中进行的问卷调查。

CaiXun turned 26 in August. Since August 1989, Caixun has become an important communication tool for us. To commemorate this important milestone, the Editorial Committee put up an exhibit of all the past issues on 21st August. Colleagues stood around the display stands, leafing through pages of past issues, getting a feel of and reading and understanding how information was then shared in CaiXun. It was heartwarming to see colleagues recalling past events highlighted and identifying, from old photos, colleagues in their younger days.

The editorial committee also produced a short video in which past Editorial Committee members shared their experiences, the challenges they faced and fun moments they had. Staff also tried their luck at the quiz stand where questions were asked about the publication’s history, committee and features. The lunch event attracted a decent turnout, one of the attractions being the free ice-cream which had staff forming a bee-line. Many also responded positively to a survey that was conducted during the event.

Remembering Our Founder, The Late Mr Chua Seng Tek

Our founder (affectionately known as “Ah Chek”) established Teck Wah Seng Kee in 1968. Then, the company was a backyard start-up, producing plain paper boxes. Fast forward to 2015, Teckwah Group is a regional player providing integrated supply chain management services.

The pacesetter of the company, our founder led by example and exemplified the values of teamwork, initiative, commitment and continuous improvement – Teckwah’s core values today. He emphasised product quality, precision and exquisiteness, and stressed upon process accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness. He was firm but treated employees with fairness and benevolence. He strongly believed in “共荣”, ensuring all Teckwahers enjoy the fruits of labour.

In his retirement, our founder kept abreast of Teckwah’s progress and was present at major company events. He passed away peacefully on 20 July, 2015. It was a time of bereavement. While we mourn the loss, we should also celebrate the great man that he was. As our Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Chua Kee Seng, so aptly stated,

Rest in peace, Ah Chek. Your legacy lives on.

The best way to pay tribute to our founder, is to continue living his dream and work hard together

to bring Teckwah to greater heights.

我们的创始人(人们亲切地称他为“阿Chek”)于1968年成立了德华成记。那时候,公司就坐落在自家后院,生产普通纸板箱。发展到2015年的今天,德华集团已经成为本区域内提供集成供应链管理服务的跨国企业。

作为公司的先导者,我们的创始人以身作则,秉持群策群力、自动自发、承担许诺和精益求精的价值观,遂形成德华如今的核心价值。他注重产品的质量、精度和细致,同时也强调加工精度、效率和效益。他虽然坚决果断,但对待员工却公平而仁慈。他坚信“共荣”的理念,确保所有的德华人都能分享辛勤耕耘的成果。

在他退休之后,我们的创始人依然关注德华的发展,并出席公司的主要活动。2015年7月20日,他安详地离开了我们。这是一个充满哀伤和悲痛的时刻。在我们因失去他而哀悼的同时,也应该庆祝他所取得的伟大成就。正如我们的主席兼董事经理蔡其生先生恰如其分地指出,

“向我们的创始人致敬的最好方式,是继续他的梦想, 并齐心协力让德华更上一层楼。”

安息吧,阿Chek。您的遗志必将得以传承。

It was a bitter-sweet celebration. As we celebrated another exciting year of progress, we stood together to observe one minute of silence to mourn the loss of our Founder, Mr. Chua Seng Tek, who passed away on 20 July this year. The tribute video on the life story of our Founder left many teary-eyed at the end of it.

This year’s anniversary celebration was held during the evening of 21st August. The event started with rousing cheers by the individual SBUs, wishing Teckwah good progress and fortune in the years to come.

When Chairman and Managing Director, Thomas Chua, addressed the staff, he recounted how Mr Chua started the company 47 years ago, his personal frugality and generosity in sharing success and knowledge, his principles of hard work and dedication and his abiding loyalty to company’s core values, all of which contributed to the success we have today. The best way to remember the Founder, Thomas said, is to embrace these values in whatever we do.

Moving on, Thomas said that the company had done well for Q2/1H 2015, and attributed the good performance to the measures that were put in place a few years back to streamline the operations in Singapore and Malaysia, the facility expansion in Wuxi, China, as well as our continual efforts in productivity improvement.

德华集团主席兼董事经理蔡其生向全体员工致辞时,回顾了蔡先生47年前如何创办公司。他生活节俭,却慷慨地分享成功的知识,他秉持勤勉及恪尽职守的原则,始终忠于公司的核心价值,这一切促成了我们今天的成功。蔡其生指出,纪念创始人的最好方式,就是做任何事情的时候都不忘这些价值观。

接着,蔡其生提到,公司在2015年第二季度及上半年表现优异,并将这些成果归功于几年前精简新加坡和马来西亚业务时采取的措施、无锡德华的设施扩展以及我们生产力的持续改善。

Thomas also urged us to be prepared for future changes in technology that may impact our businesses, or even transform the way we live, work and play. It is critical that we get ourselves ready to harness new technological trends. On this note he encouraged staff to be proactive in upgrading themselves.

After his address, there was the customary birthday song and cake cutting. Three colleagues who were also celebrating their 47th birthday this year were invited on stage for the cake cutting. The celebration ended with distribution of cake and red packets by the management team to all staff.

蔡其生还敦促大家做好准备以应对未来的科技变革,这不仅会影响我们的业务,甚至会改变我们的生活、工作和娱乐方式。做好准备把握新科技的发展趋势至关重要,在这点上,他鼓励员工积极主动地自我提升。

致辞结束后,举行了切蛋糕仪式,3名和德华同岁的同事也受邀一起切蛋糕,大家唱起生日歌和德华厂歌。庆祝活动结束后,管理层向所有员工分发了蛋糕和红包。

In order to celebrate Singapore’s Golden Jubilee, we took a trip to the Singapore Flyer. The curtain-opener was the specially curated exhibition, “47 Hill Street” by the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on Singapore’s nation building. It was a large-scale, multi-media, four dimensional 20-minute show and exhibition which show-cased Singapore’s history. In order to cater to both Mandarin and English-speaking staff, we were separated into orange and green teams to view the exhibition in turn. Staff were also taken up in the Singapore Flyer to take in the city and sea views and neighbouring islands. It was the first time on the Flyer for many of the staff. Many whipped out handphones and cameras to capture the images.

After the celebratory activities, everybody gathered for a buffet dinner. Before the dinner, our Chairman, Thomas Chua, gave a welcome speech. He highlighted that Teckwah was not like other companies who gave out ang pows or gifts

to commemorate SG50. By bringing staff to the Singapore Flyer, we were able to see the Singapore skyline and reflect on Singapore’s success, that only 50 years ago, was a dream. He emotionally recounted that the exhibit by the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (“SCCCI”), “47 Hill Street”, depicted Singapore’s nation-building. Singapore 50 years ago, was a small, third-world nation with no resources, dependent on trade. Now, our country has become a developed nation, standing firmly on the international stage. As said by our founding fathers, SCCCI’s history is a reflection of Singapore’s history and Singapore’s history, in turn, is a reflection of Teckwah’s history.

It was a memorable event, which saw staff reluctant to take their leave, even after the event concluded.

8月28日下午,全体德华员工来到新加坡摩天轮景观区,拉开了庆祝新加坡50金禧活动的序幕。

为照顾讲华语和英文员工的不同需求,员工们分为橘黄和青绿两大组,分批参观了“禧街47号 - 建国五十周年特展 。”这是由中华总商会主办的大型多媒体历史特展,通过四维投影技术,让参观者从观看一部20分钟的四维多媒体影片及平面展览,了解新加坡 历史。

员工也分批登上摩天轮,一览夕照下新加坡市区和海岸线壮美景色,极目远眺可以望见邻国岛屿。不少同事还是第一次登上摩天轮,大家纷纷拿出相机或手机拍照留念。

庆祝活动的终曲是大家围坐在一起享用自助餐。开席前,集团主席兼董事经理蔡其生首先发表讲话,他指出,“ 我们不象某些公司那样派发金禧50红包或礼物,而是带领大家来到新加坡摩天轮,从这里我们可以清晰地俯瞰新加坡轮廓线,这些轮廓线在50年前这还只是个梦想,它是新加坡成功的写照 。”

特展”,他用充满感情的语调指出,“你们看到了50年前新加坡的样貌,一个没有任何资源,只能靠转口贸易生存的第三世界小国,如今已成为发达国家,昂首屹立在世界舞台 。”他接着说,“正如建国总理说过,‘总商会的历史反映着新加坡的历史’,同样的,新加坡的路也是德华的路 。”

夜幕降临,大家用餐后依依不舍地离开。这真是一场让人回味无穷的金禧庆祝活动。
