THE CONCEPT

From Gyral - the company that introduced broadacre airseeders to world agriculture, comesthe latest in a long line of innovative farming implements - the STR Rear Trailing Seeder.

Designed from the ground up, the STR is built to work hard in today’s rapidly changing farmingsystems. The STR incorporates all of the best features of our earlier seeder model as well as a rangeof exciting new features.

Gyral’s STR Seeder has been designed to be versatile and practical with plenty of features. The STRSeeder suits a wide range of farming systems and management practices. CALIBRATION ELECTRONICSCALES AND BUCKET

To check your sowing rates, it is a simpleoperation to calibrate.

First, select the desired sowing rate fromyour sowing chart gear selections. Openbottom door and place grain chute andbucket into position. Select zero onhectare meter and wind crank handle for1 hectare or part thereof. Weigh theproduct to ensure the correct weight.

GYRAL’S PRESSURISED BIN SYSTEMS

Gyral’s own patented Pressurised Bin System was designed to achieve accurate, consistent sowingrates without the use of a venturi. This system also enables product to be delivered with less air flowand pressure.

Inside each bin Gyral uses a pressure equalizing tube. This gives equal air pressure above and belowthe seed/fertiliser levels, thus giving the seed/fertiliser metering systems an accurate sowing rate as thebins empty.

Gyral air seeders may be used in conjunction with other makes of tillage equipment. However, as thetillage implement used is an integral part of any seeding operation, we feel that better results areobtained by using the renowned Gyral Tilther/Seeder combination.
