Our Future Uncertain; Our Past: Unknown...
Once upon not so distant a time: There was Classical Civilization! The Parthenon and The Pantheon: Truth, Beauty and Birth of Democracy in Ancient Athens... The Olympic Games; for which Wars were stopped. Human Figure Statues in Marble and Bronze; unrivaled until Paris France under patron Napoleon benefited Classical Arts.
Why is our Past Unknown?
Roman Emperor Constantine needed to rule an increasingly diverse population of Slaves, Rabble and the Homeless (the Roman "Mob" numbering about one million) from every corner of Empire. He chose the Cult of Christianity from embittered Judeans; born after the second fall of Jerusalem (Simon Bar Kokhba's revolt in 132-135 AD). From Gene Brooks we learn: ("Sunday in the South" http://genebrooks.blogspot.com ) "In A.D. 311, about 10% of the Roman Empire was Christian. By A.D. 321, about 90% of the Roman Empire was Christian. What happened? The Emperor Constantine happened. Constantine's Edict of Milan (313) made Christianity immune from the Civil Law. There was a stampede of candidates to be Christian priests, but not for good reasons. They were pursuing political power in the new prestige and imperial favor of Christianity. Later in 321 he made Christianity compulsory..." Icing on the cake was the First Council of Nicaea (325); this ironed out the Arian Heresy; resulting in the Nicene Creed, which was promptly written in stone and remains immutable to this very day. ( Trapped in a Spiritual Time Warp We are ) And then: Thousands of years of our glorious Classical Civilization was purposefully erased by vengeful Christians from the Slave Cult, Christianity. All that remained from the nearly complete destruction of our History was re-tooled, re-named and re-written as the "Word of God", the "Holy Scripture" and served up as "The Bible".
Wise Woman, "Gentle Touch", tells what happened next:
"Western histories have put forth many theories about the fall of Rome and attributed the onset of the Dark Ages to a wide variety of causes, except the one cause that may have had more to do with it than any other: Christianity. By denying Women's spiritual significance and forbidding Goddess Worship, the Church alienated both sexes from their Pagan sense of Unity with the Divine through Each Other.

"Christians said one of the diabolic symptoms of the oncoming End Of The World was "the spread of knowledge"; (Today's Internet!), which they endeavored to check with wholesale book-burnings, destruction of libraries and schools, and opposition to education for laymen. By the end of the 5th century, Christian rulers forcibly abolished the study of philosophy, mathematics, medicine, and geography. Lactantius said no Christian should study astronomy. Pope Gregory I the Great (born 540? Pope from 590-604 C.E.) denounced all secular education as folly and wickedness, and forbade Christian laymen to read even the Bible. He burned the library of the Palatine Apollo, "lest its secular literature distract the faithful from the contemplation of Heaven."
"In the Church's view, every opinion except its own was heretical and devilish, likely to raise doubts in the minds of believers.
"Therefore, Pagan Intellectuals and teachers were persecuted and schools were closed. Christian emperors commanded the burning of all books of the philosophers, as Theodosius (Theodosius the Great; 346?-395, Roman emperor 379-395) said, "for we would not suffer any of those things so much as to come to Men's ears, which would tend to provoke God to wrath and offend the minds of the pious." After years of vandalism and destruction, St. John Chrysostom proudly boasted, "Every trace of the old philosophy and literature of the Ancient World has vanished from the face of the Earth."
It was almost true. Christian persecutions left "but few fragments of a vast liturgy and religious literature of Paganism which would have cast many a ray of light on the origins of our own faith; and demolished holy places and beautiful temples such as the World shall never rear again"
After temples were destroyed, monks and hermits were settled in the ruins to defile the site with their excrement, and to prevent reconstruction."

• We are forbidden to know about "The Force". • We are forbidden to know about Flying Saucers, UFOs, and
others who may now be among us. • We are forbidden to know the Money-Changers in the Temple of
Federal Reserve who took our Gold and gave us back paper Fiat Currency.
• We are forbidden even to Heal Ourselves; instead, we are offered the sexual mutilation of Circumcision to satisfy blood lust from Jerusalem's Tribal God.

A 120-seat Multi-Purpose Room is named for Yellow Springs Instruments (YSI, Inc.) and can be combined or divided for a variety of needs. The Multi-Purpose Room ( #C118) is on the first floor through the Main Entrance from the Parking Lot. Go to right side of the Entrance Foyer; from the Parking Lot.

Longtime Wisdom Quest Member, Bill Sheline, passed away peacefully in April, 2010. I will say a few words in Memorandum about our old friend, Bill, and his many

Sheline, William "Bill" H., 67, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. He was born on September 20, 1942, a son of Raymond Sheline and Pearl (Cooper) Trow. William was a member of First Christian Church for the past 28 years. He was a Navy veteran in the Cuban conflict and Vietnam War and was also a lifetime member of the American Dowsers Association and the Wisdom Quest Chapter of the United States Psychotronics Association. Bill also owned and operated Open Sesame, a very successful business specializing in the construction of exquisitely well tuned Radionic and Psychotronic Equipment; which are now destined to become valuable collector's items. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Zelda (Wolfe) Sheline; mother, Pearl Trow; son, Joseph Sheline; daughter, Laura Sheline.
