Shang Dynasty• Little is known about the Xia

• The Second Dynasty of China is the Shang Dynasty – 1750-1045 B.C.

• Society was ruled by an aristocracy– Wealth based on land and power is

and miliatary• A writing system was developed

during the Shang Dynasty and has been found on “oracle bones”
