It took about 70 days to embalm, or preserve, the dead in ancient Egypt. The priest in charge of this wore a mask of a jackel

representing the god of embalming, Anubis.

Hades, the Greek god of the

underworld, was uncle to more then half of the Greek gods.

The Egyptians had more then 700 gods! The rulers of their time, called pharaohs, were considered gods, so the numbers added up.
