Invitation Organisation
Dear Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to join us here at the Department of Neurosurgery of the Technical University of Munich for our second international symposium in April 2010. It is two years since we had our first meeting on Non-Fusion Technologies, which was a great success. We will again focus on new technologies. One part will be reserved for image-guidance and robotics in spinal surgery and the other will be an update on non-fusion technologies.
An international panel of renowned spinal surgeons in this field will give thus an overview on the different technologies and techniques in invited plenary lectures. A focus will be on evidence-based indications versus emerging or unproven ones. In the panel discussions and point-/counterpoint- sessions you will be able to participate actively in the effort to establish a consensus.
In conjunction with this symposium we will also organize a hands-on cadaver workshop for a limited number of participants, which will be held in collaboration with Prof. Dr. R. Putz at the Institute of Anatomy of the University of Munich the day preceding this symposium. We are looking forward to seeing you in Munich.

Information sharing or continuing professional development provided by manufacturers and distributors for employees working at medical institu-tions (in the context of internal/exter-nal continuing professional develop-ment symposiums and conferences) is a vehicle for disseminating medical knowledge and presenting lessons learned from practical experience. It must be relevant and made available at a reasonable cost. Sharing of diag-nostic and therapeutic information must be the primary consideration. Employees must provide all of the de-tails about the event (duration, costs and fees) to their employer and ob-tain the employer’s approval to attend the event. Please keep your employer informed. Thank you.
