a physician consultation to determine the

expected needs of the patient.

Pre-operative and pre-prosthetic consultations

to patients, physicians, physical therapists and

family members help to promote continuity in a

patient’s care.

A consultation is also made with the patient

and their family members to provide a better

understanding of the pre- and post-operative

treatment plan. The consultation helps patients

gain insight into the prosthetic fitting process and

what patients can expect afterwards.

Pre-prosthetic consultations are also available for

patients and their families, as well as physicians

and therapists.
