GROUP DISCUSSION:

Time Limit and any other instructions: Nothing in particularWhether asked to summarize the GD: Yes (Everyone was asked to do it one by one on a random basis)
Whether a written summary of the GD was asked: No
THE GD EXPERIENCE: (please provide at least 5 lines of description)
The topic was such that not everyone had a lot to talk about. It was relatively (when compared to IIMK orLs GD) peaceful with everyone getting ample opportunity to talk. There were a few guys who were trying
to fight for airtime but that did not really create too much commotion. I believe that it was just the natureof the topic that allowed the GD to move on smoothly. Another thing that was noticeable was that people
discussed any new (and good) point quite elaborately. So instead of trying to get in too often, I decided to
work on a strategy where I would wait and watch for a lull in the discussion and would come out with atotally new point (which the group had not discussed till then) at that point. This also gave me recognition
when people started summarizing (They went like As our friend pointed out.. blah blah). The
Professors were stationed in their respective seats and did not interrupt until the end when they asked eachone of us to summarize the GD randomly.

List of the questions asked and your responses:(Intro questions/acad based questions/work experience based/general awareness/personal questions)
20 minutes interview.15-16 minutes revolved around my work experience.
Ranged from the business model to nature of responsibilities to a few technical questions on
trading and capital markets (very easy ones).
It was not grilling as such. It was more of a general discussion. (Could have been because I hada unique work experience)
2 more questions:
Explain Supersub in cricket. (He asked me whether I liked cricket)
It was a sitter. Discuss the demerits of the software industry in India
My response was a few general points. (Talked about skilled workers deficiency in the
