My audience Majority of my audience are aged 16-24 year olds 15 are males and the other half are females. My audience are from secondary school, sixth form, college and university. Most of the people are employed and the other s are unemployed. This shows that majority of the are employed. My audience likes to shop at variety of shops, the majority shop at next. The second most popular shop with the audience is Primark. The third most popular shop my target audience shop at is House of Frazer and H&M. not much people shop at Topman and more people shop at Topshop than Topman. Majority of the people also shop at other shops which were not listed on the questionnaire such as JD Sports, Selfridges, Hollister, Super dry, Dorothy Perkins and Gucci. The fact that my audience shop at a variety of places suggests that they are trendy and stylish and that they all go for new styles and fashionable brands. Majority of my audience are involved in extra curricular activities, the most popular sports are swimming and basketball. The least popular are tennis and ice skating, the audience also like other sports which were not mentioned on the questionnaire which were rugby, football, Dance, Badminton and Cricket. For disposable income majority of my target audience spend £51-£100 on themselves in one month. Followed by £21-£50 and the least amount of people spend £100+ on themselves per month. From this it shows that most of the people who answered this question spends My target audiences interests are sports, music, films and going online. The least popular was reading books, the most popular was watching soaps. The current media consumption of my target audience looking at how the British press under represents most issues such as racism, women's football, marriage, drugs and knife crime. Are that the most popular majority of the people I asked said that racism is under represented , followed by marriage, women's football team and the least important being knife this shows that. The The attitudes of my target audience concerning social matters are that majority of my audience view university fees and racism as the most important. Followed by street violence and the least popular were politics and war. Minority live with their boyfriends and mates according to the results and most people live with their parents. They are located around the areas of Romford, Good Mayes, Chadwell Heath and Chigwell. Their ethnicity varies from being black, white, Caribbean, Indian, Chinese and others such as mixed race. For how they find out about the news There was a chose from news, radio and newspapers. A high number of people picked TV followed by radio and newspapers, the least popular was internet.

My audience

The statistics would help me decided on which topic I should produce my documentary on looking at the results tells me that knife crime would not be as effective then the rest.

• Majority of my audience are aged 16-24 year olds 15 are males and the other half are females this would help me make my documentary as it will target a wider audience and it would be easier for me to make it appealing to both genders.

• I have received feedback from a mixture of ethnicities this would help me as I can target a range of ethnicities however a huge number of them are white which shows me which ethnicity should I mostly target in order for the documentary to be successful. As 7 are Indian, 12 are white, 3 are Chinese's, 5 are black, 2 are Caribbean and 1 is mixed race.

• Most of my audience I asked chose TV to find out about the news this would help me in my documentary as it would help me choose the appropriate media to use by finding out the most popular way on what they use the most. As 11 people chose TV, 10 people chose radio, 7 people chose newspapers and 2 chose the internet.

• For my target audience their interests are watching soaps as 13 out of 30 watch them 11 out of 30 chose reading magazines as their favourite pass time activity.

• For the social matters 12 people said they are concerned about university fees the most, 5 said racism, 6 said politics, 5 said street violence, and 2 said war.

• The responses I received were that 15 out of 30 suggested that racism was under represented in the news. As well as 12 out of 30 disagreed on marriage as well, 7 out of 30 agreed that women's football was under represented as well as 12 out of 30 agreed that knife crime was under represented.

• For disposable income 8 out of 30 spend £21-£50 followed by 5 out of 30 who spend £100+ on themselves per month, 17 people said they spend £51-£100.

• 17 out of 30 are employed and the other 13 out of 30 are unemployed.

• 26 live with their parents and 4 live with their boyfriend.

• 14 out of 30 shop at Next 13 out of 30 shop at Primark 9 out of 30 shop at House of Frazer and H&M. 8 out of 30 shop at Topman and 10 out of 30 shop at Topshop.

• This is Aisha she is 16 years old in 6th form, works part time in River Island who lives in Leyton with her parents.

• She’s trendy and likes to keep up to date with the latest high street fashion who mainly spends her money on clothes she likes to spend £100+ on her self per month. Her favourite place to shop is Oxford street, the stores she normally shops in are Topshop, New look, H&M, Next and Primark. Her interests are that she likes to go out with her friends to parties and sleepovers to have fun.

• She likes to watch movies online and on TV, as well as going around her friends house to watch DvD’s. The movies she prefers are Legally blonde, Confessions of a Shopaholic, 13 going on to 30 and Bridget Jones Diary with popcorn and fizzy drinks, which she enjoys watching with her friends.

• Her hobbies are she likes swimming, tennis and badminton in her free time, however she's not a big fan of basketball and football.

• Her favourite entertainments are reading magazines such as ‘’Shout’’ to find out the latest celebrity gossips and fashion and the type of music she listens to is R&B and POP.

• The programmes she normally watches are Britain's got Talent, Misfits, My big fat gypsy weddings and Hollyoaks. The channels she usually views are BBC One, Channel 4, ITV1, Living TV and E4.

• The attitudes of the girl are that she is concerned about University fees increasing, she has opinions on street violence, she feels that war is not good for the population, and she has views and opinions on politics.

• She feels that the British press under represents issues such as racism, women's football, knife crime and drugs.
