Wide/Establishing Shots

• In the first wide shot in the sequence, it shows a girl sitting alone on a sofa shot from a mid/high angle. The girl is fidgeting and looks slightly anxious, as if waiting for something. This is anchored in the next shot by someone walking into the room.

• In the penultimate shot, which is the only other establishing shot, it shows the brunette girl leaving the blonde girl in the room. We used the wide shot when the brunette girl both entered and left the room, which meant you saw both character’s facial expression and body language in the shot.

Extreme Close Ups

• In the second shot, we added in an extreme close up before the other character is introduced of just their feet walking into the room. This added mystery and suspicion, as you didn’t know who had walked in and could only draw conclusion from the footwear.

• The next extreme close up we used was of her troubled face, which connoted the blonde character’s emotion towards the instructions she had been given. The extreme close up meant the audience
