Twilight Saga: eclipse

Having the main character in the centre –between the two other characters implies a love triangle especially with the tagline “it all begins ...with a choice” which can connotate to the choice between which one of the men she will choose.

The darkness of the poster connotates danger for the heroine of the movie-showing there will be darker aspects within the film.

The background of a cloudy -storm like night sky adds to the upcoming danger of the vampires .

The font is the same font from the novels and the previous two movies which continues the brand of twilight and the continuity of the campaign.

The font is the same as the title –which allows it to grab the audiences attention

The car on fire is an enigma code which links to the title of the film ,and appealing to the audience ,as they will want to find out why the car was set on fire. The use of fire is similarly used in the first film ,which keeps the campaign consistent.

The symbol used behind the film title is a dragon’s head which is a direct reference to the first film “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”

The main character is centred directly in front of the burning car, which makes an impact to the audience about the character –presenting her dark and menacing side which juxtaposes with the reference of the “girl” in the title.
