Building on Journey Analytics 1.0 – next steps• Journey Analytics 1.0 is currently an in-house tool for undertaking bespoke analysis
of the many transport performance questions perplexing road agencies today• Next stages of capability development include:
> Further data verification – anticipating real time data> Volume imputation to develop aggregate network metrics> Merging of public transport journey metrics, including on-time running and cost of
congestion to public transport> Identification of data use cases and real-life testing
• This development work will strengthen the robustness of the road performance metrics and any related analysis
• The scope for user-focussed development includes:> Focus on data interfaces including potentially a performance dashboard> Metric refinement – including accessing real-time origin-destination data> Incorporate incident data, opal card data> Understand people movement patterns across Sydney
