Anaerobic Transport MediaThe Anaerobic Transport System is a sterile, ready-to-use collection kit, consisting of two sterile swabs (optional). Available in a peel pouch (optional) and a glass tube containing a semi-solid, pre-reduced transport medium. The sterile peel pouch is suitable for the surgical suite. The medium has an indicator that will turn lavender if the anaerobic condition is compromised. Fluids can be injected with a syringe directly into the tube through a pierceable, rubber septum. Maintains viability of a wide variety of microorganisms for up to 48 hours during transportation, by StarPlex Scientific.

Double screw clamp, coupled with the patented Quad-Ring gasket, ensures a more positive seal superior to conventional O-rings. Screw clamp lid also doubles as a handy carrying handle.
