Box further illustrated: “The 300 moved with athletic, long-legged grace, stepping firmly over bumps and potholes - it always felt ready for a cross-country run.” Postmedia News’ Leslie Wimbush recently reviewed the 2015 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel that she credited with having exceptional fuel economy for a pickup. She wrote the EcoDiesel gets, “8.8 L/100 km highway and 12.1 L/100 km city fuel ratings – compared to the Ford F-150’s 9.2/10.9, Chevy Silverado’s 10.6/14.9, and the Toyota Tundra’s 14.2/18.5 ratings. The EcoDiesel even outshines the recently driven compact GMC Canyon’s 9.2/13.9 L/100 km.” Also it’s quite the looker as she added: “My tester, a 2015 Laramie Crew Cab 4×4 garnered more attention at the stables than the Porsche Turbo S Cabriolet I showed up in last summer. In rich chocolate brown with plenty of chrome bright work, it’s an attractive beast. The cabin is positively voluminous – there’s as much head and leg room here as any full-size sedan of recent memory.” She also wrote about its handling: “The Ram is one smooth cruiser, thanks to its air suspension that not only improves aerodynamics and helps with load levelling, but gives it the well-damped behaviour of a sedan.” FCA Canada News Update is published by FCA Canada Communications, and intended for distribution to dealership employees to highlight company and industry news. Jeep Renegade: dans les petits pots...

4/10/2015 Volume 5, Issue # 14

Dodge Charger storms

back with a swagger

“The Dodge Charger SXT - with its all-wheel drivetrain - is a particularly suitable four-door sedan for winter-ravaged Canada,” wrote Postmedia News’ Brian Harper in The Windsor Star. He added: “It offers a clean, strong design with front and rear LED lighting, and interior design elements that now include a thick-rim three-spoke steering wheel, customizable colour driver information dis-play cluster and decent cabin materials.” Documenting the driving characteristics, Harper noted: “The SXT's ride and handling are definitely skewed toward the sportier side of things.” Also: “There's definitely a younger, sportier air to the Charger, with a whiff of street hooligan. The Charger brings a sporty vibe, good power and handling dynamics, and is far less expensive than typical AWD Eurosedans.”

2015 Fiat 500 Sport fun for all

“The Fiat 500 Sport is an affordable car and surprisingly well appointed,” wrote Drew Edwards for the Waterloo Region Record. He added: “It features a number of things from the wish list but usually out of the price range: leather seats, a sun roof, Bluetooth, a USB port, an automatic transmission with the ability to shift like a manual.” Edward’s article noted: “And it's

a blast to drive: The 100-horsepower engine seems plenty robust, especially in ‘Sport’ mode. It puts a smile on my face every time I hop in, and I can't say that about any other car I've ever owned."
