• Pre 2013 – organisations dedicated to supporting doctors and medical students to access quality medical care operating in most states and territories
• March 2013 – The Medical Board of Australia (MBA) announced funding for external doctors’ health program
• October 2013 – Beyond Blue report
• April 2014 – MBA announces plan for nationally consistent services for all doctors and medical students
• April 2015 – AMA and AHPRA sign agreement for funding doctors’ health programs and advise existing doctors’ health services
• August 2015 – Request for expression of interest for providing doctors’ health services sent to existing services
