Our developments range in size from a few dozen homes near a market town to complex, mixed-use urban regeneration programmes with over five thousand dwellings. We build schools and stations alongside a mix of housing that ranges from riverside apartments to traditional homes designed in the local vernacular.

WHERE WE WORK The Berkeley Group operates across London and the south of England. We work through four autonomous brands: St George, St James, St Edward, and Berkeley Homes. LONDON RIVERSIDE ONE BLACKFRIARSThis site had lain derelict for a decade. Now it is becoming an elegant new landmark for London, made using thousands of individual panels of glass varying in tone and shape arranged in two distinct layers creating the building’s unique curved shape.

St George are investing £680,000 in local employment and training initiatives, and the development will create 200 full-time jobs once complete.

REGENERATIONKIDBROOKE VILLAGEKidbrooke Village is a great example of what we mean by place-making. It has a broad mix of tenures and facilities, set in 35 hectares of green space. In the last five years we have built over 900 homes on this site, of which 518 are affordable. This has created 2,452 jobs in construction and 56 apprenticeships so far. 91% of people living on the development say they feel like they belong.

RESTORATIONROEHAMPTON HOUSEThis stunning 300 year old Grade One listed building is the centrepiece of a major regeneration programme delivered by St James. It created 24 apartments and an exclusive opportunity to own a unique place in British history. We take great pride in restoring heritage assets, conserving them, and using each building as a stimulus and focal point for rejuvenating the wider area.

A NEW GENERATIONBerkeley also builds world class student accommodation. We apply the same set of qualities found in our residential development to this sector: great public realm, a mix of uses, and elegant entrance areas. We have excellent relationships with universities in London and use different financial models to help bring this product to the market.

NEW CONNECTIONS CROSSRAILBerkeley developments provide a whole range of amenities and services alongside the homes that we build. These include parks, healthcare and leisure facilities. Many sites enhance local transport provision. At Imperial Wharf in Fulham and the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, we have delivered entirely new stations.

BERKELEY FOUNDATIONIn 2011, we launched the Berkeley Foundation. This works to improve the lives of young people and their communities across London and the South of England. It has already committed more than £5 million to over 60 charities, helping to tackle some of the big social issues facing our society: homelessness, jobs, skills and care.
