An Index to Publicationszn the English LanguagePertaining to Aerotriangulation zn Space*
COMPILED BY GORDON GRACIE,
JI sst. Professor of Civil Engineering,Univ. oj Illinois, Urbana, Ill.
PART of the photogrammetric research thathas been done at the University of Illinois
during the past few years has involved thesystem(~tic compilation of an index to publications on aetotriangulation. Currently, motethan 700 titles are filed in this Index, some 400of them being in the English language. TheseEnglish language publications are listed here.
The Index does not pertain to radial triangulation, but only to aerotriangulation inspace, both analog and analytical. As complete an index as possible has been striven for, although it is recognized that absolute completeness for such an undertaking is virtuallyimpossible. In this regard, the compiler wouldgreatly appreciate any significant omissionsbeing brought to his attention.
Because aero triangulation is such an integral part of photogrammetry, it is impossible to draw any distinct line between thosearticles which pertain to aero triangulationand those which do not. Indeed, there areseveral border-line cases, particularly in suchsubject areas as camera orientation in flight, photogrammetric equipmen t for triangulation, relative and absolute orientation ofphotographs, and errors in the fundamentalphotogrammetric operations. Only thosearticles which, in the opinion of the compiler, have direct significance in aero triangulationhave been listed.
The index is prepared in alphabetical orderaccording to author. \~'here authorship of anarticle is by more than one person, the articleis listed only under the name of the firstauthor cited in the publication.
