An Extravagant Victorian Feast

Step 1• We first of all decided what era we wanted to base our

menu on (Victorian) and carried out some background research to determine the types of food they had and what a typical meal was like.

• We selected how many courses and dishes per course were necessary.

• Fact: Victorians often had 2 course meals with up to 20 dishes.

Step 2• We selected the dishes for the main course and made sure

that they were suitable for the time.

Step 3• We then selected the dishes for the pudding and again made

sure that they were suitable for the time.• Fact: For example we selected afternoon tea because

the Victorians invented this.
