S.E.N.S VR is the first virtual reality game based on a comic book. You are lost in a graphic maze with only arrows to guide you. Where will they lead you?

CONCEPT

In S.E.N.S VR , the character and/or you will have to follow all indications presented to you. Most of the time, they are concealed under volumes

that are hard to understand, hidden under sand or in the corner of a graphic illusion.

With a simple look at them, you can animate objects which will in turn re-spond by showing you the way. Sometimes you might see yourself appear

at the fringe of a frozen sea that cracks under your steps. You will rush to fly above endless cities. But where are you going?

In fact, no one can really tell, each and every one must find their paths…

...an initiatory trip into the depths of a world with strange laws…

CREATION

S.E.N.S VR was originally a graphic novel by Marc-Antoine Mathieu. For a long time, with each of his books, the cartoonist has been exploring the limits of this genre, e.g. a character looking for the right page to finish the story, what would happen if the vanishing point were to disappear, etc. In this book, game designers Charles Ayats and Armand Lemarchand have found the ideal world to explore in virtual reality.

S.E.N.S VR unfolds the graphic world of the book in 3D: characters, settings, hand drawn lines, shadow-plays, etc. It also rethinks its scenario and the strange bond between the reader and the character. The experience also reflects the book’s spirit. In this game, the boundaries of different genres are being pushed: Comic book, video game and all those of virtual reality. The character is split into two (outside and inside view), the space is stripped down and the history is almost a philosophical tale: All these make the work unique yet easily accessible to a broad audience.
