About the speakersThe Hon. Mr Justice Roderick Murphy has been a judge of The HighCourt since 2000. He practised at the Bar since 1975 and became aSenior Counsel in 1991. He is a member of the editorial boards of theIrish Employment Law Journal and the Employment Law Report s. Hehas served as a member of The International Court of Arbitration in Parisand The Court of International Arbitration in London. He is a Fellow ofThe Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has lectured in DIT and wasProfessor of Law in Kings’ Inns.

Cliona Kimber BL is a barrister specialising in employment and equalitylaw and regularly appears before the EAT, Equality Tribunal. LabourCourt as well as the ordinary courts. She is author (with MargueriteBolger) of Sex Discrimination Law and co-author of DisabilityDiscrimination law. She is editor of the ELR and IELJ. Ms Kimber lecturesin Labour Law in Trinity College Dublin and writes and lecturesextensively on the subject of employment and equality law.

Marguerite Bolger is a practising barrister specialising in employmentlaw. She has appeared in many key bullying and harassment casesbefore the High Court, Circuit Court, EAT and the Equality Tribunal.Marguerite is a co-author of Sex Discrimination and the Law (ThomsonRound Hall, 2000) and a member of the Editorial Board of the IrishEmployment Law Journal (Thomson Round Hall). She is an externalexaminer in employment law at the Honourable Society of the KingsInns and the University of Ireland.

Frances Meenan B.Comm., MBS (NUI), Dip. Arb. MCI Arb is apracticing barrister specializing in employment law and related matters.A new edition of her established work on employment law will bepublished by Thomson Round Hall in 2008 (in The Brehon Library). Shehas extensive experience in representation and advisory work. She hasalso published numerous articles on both Irish and Europeanemployment law and lectures extensively.

Geoffrey Shannon, Solicitor is the author of Health and Safety Lawand Practice (second edition is due to be published by Thomson RoundHall in 2007). He is the Legal Editor of A-Z of Health and Safety(Thomson Round Hall) and also lectures extensively on the area of Health& Safety law.

Tom Mallon is a practicing barrister who specialises in employment law.

Cancellations policy

If you have to cancel your booking, please send us a written cancellation (by letter or fax to 01 662 5302 or e-mail to [email protected]) not less than 10 working days

before the conference (i.e. before Friday 4th May 2007). No telephone cancellations will be accepted. A refund of your conference fee less an 280 administrative charge

will then be sent to you. After 4th May 2007, we cannot accept any cancellations and the full fee is payable. Failure to attend the conference will be regarded as

a late cancellation and your payment will be forfeited.
