    On this banks I sit,

Under the green wood tree,Listening to the melody of the waves

Seeing the waves reaching up the shore

memories flow back to my mind.

    The time we spent here,

like the chirping sparrows on the branches.

    We came in together, and

One left, all of a suddenFlying beyond the limits,

    Beyond the sky,

    Passing the port of Elysium

    Beyond our reach

Beyond the heights we could fly

    And beyond everything ..

Away she went, leaving us still on the banksAnd as she flew up,

The same waves came and fondled,

The banks of our crystal fondled,

    And rolled down through our checks;

    The tiny silver dew drops

Now, by this banks I sit

Listening the same melody in melancholic strain.

As the wind blows across my face,

    I could see that sparrow,

With its turnkling eyes and fluttering wings,

    Chirping on the branches.
