AN ELECTRO-TECHNICAL TESTING LABORATORYAt present, the demand for power has increased many folds and so is the expectation of customers. All customers want reliable power. This has created need for technologically advanced infrastructure solutions to minimize the electrical losses, minimize the breakdowns, assure public safety and avoid any potential liability.

Cables, Conductors and transformers serve as most important assets of the Power System for Transmission and Distribution of Electrical Energy from generation points to the end users.

It is observed that Cables, Conductors and transformers manufacturing industries are implementing the latest technologies and resources. Power Distribution Companies are adopting various techniques to assure the quality of the power to meet the specic requirements of their customers,

Rajasthan Test and Research Centre (RTRC) performs testing of Cables, Conductors and transformers in accordance with various National and International Standards i.e. IS/ISO/IEC/BS/BSEN/ASTM/ NEMA/ANSI/SANS/NES/NFC/etc.

RTRC Tests all the products/accessories with the objective to check and analyze their performance through a series of rigorous tests to identify and detect potential defects, which might otherwise jeopardize reliable operation.

Rajasthan Test & Research Centre (RTRC) is housed in most modern building having covered area 1800 sq. ft. and is situated in the heart of Manesar Gurugram which is an Industrial Hub in northern India.

RTRC is an Electro-technical Testing laboratory complying with the requirements of IS/ISO/IEC 17025:2017 – latest standard for “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing Laboratories” and is accredited with the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).

A constituent Board of Quality Council of India. NABL is a full member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and Asia Pacic Accreditation Co-operation (APAC). NABL is signatory to ILAC as well as APAC Mutual Recognition arrangement (MRA) for accreditation of Testing and Calibration Laboratory, thus the Test Reports issued by us are accepted Worldwide amongst all member countries of International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and Asia Pacic Accreditation Cooperation (APAC)

RTRC is recognized by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), working under the aegis of Ministry of Consumer Aairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Government of India. RTRC is one of the three Laboratories in India recognized by BIS for performing testing of HT Cables. Detailed information is available on the BIS Website.

RTRC started its journey in the year 2008 by getting the accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005. At present, we are equipped with state-of-the-art testing facilities covered in 18000 sq. ft. area.

Our people are fully competent & we enjoy a leadership position in all segments we cater to. We are always innovative & dynamic.

RTRC is proud of its competence in testing of Cables. We have a team of professionally qualied and experienced personnel. We use technologically advanced equipment, having high accuracy and precision.

The team of testing personnel are having experience and expertise in the eld of high voltage and other tests like UV, Thermal Endurance, Toxicity Index, Presence of Fluorine content, test for Circuit Integrity for cables under specied conditions and other tests.

RTRC believes that they are one of the best in the World for testing and evaluation of Cables for independent, unbiased and reliable services. All the personnel are trained and possess expertise for interpreting test results and even help to improve and enhance design capabilities of the manufacturer.
