Suggestion from faculty for revision of the curriculum of the programme forwarded to curriculum Committee and then to the Academic Council for approval UTU is a new University and curriculum of programme not completed one cycle curriculum would be revised after completion of at least one cycle of the programme.

University is following the UGC guidelines on examination and
assessment of students. Assessments consist of continuous
assessment and end semester examination. Continuous
assessment includes assignments, Quiz, research papers and
contribution to class discussion presentations in classroom
etc.
The University follows a semester system with theory and
Practical including project examinations at the end of each
semester. The end of semester examinations will cover all
topics of subject covered in the concerned semester.
External paper setter and examiner are appointed for and
semester theory and practical including project examination.
Ratio of Continuos and end semester examination is 30:70.
Examination Module: Full automation starting from appointment of paper setter and/or examiner to declaration of result from block wise seating arrangement to supervisor allocation. Secrecy through bar code system etc.
5.8 What methods of evaluation of answer scripts does the University follow? Whether external experts are invited for evaluation?
Evaluation of answer scripts has performed by appointed examiners at least one section by External Examiners in each subject and / modules.

Question paper template and Guide lines circulated to Paper setter. Course is divided in six units for the evaluation purpose.

B) Publications, presentations, student’s research projects, QIP’s attended, etc are used to evaluate the teacher’s research potential and c) work satisfaction is analysed by recording the extra and co-curricular activities of the teacher during the academic year apart from regular teaching and research. Senior Faculties are analysed by self evaluation and peer review.
