An Ancient Astronaut Thesis Written by Simon Edward Jepps

Introduction

Since the dawn of time, people have looked up at the night stars and wondered, why they glow so

brightly, where they came from, when will they go out, how far are they and can they ever be

visited... but most significantly, if we can visit the stars, can the stars, or people from them, visit

us?

Discovered over the years, overwhelming evidence proves that many if not most ancient

civilisations all over the entire Earth, have recorded themselves that they were visited by sky or

star people, who descended from the heavens on fiery or burning chariots, who told them how to

live... and in some cases... who taught them mathematics, science and geometry.

In 1968, the Swiss author Erich von Däniken published Chariots Of The Gods, which became an

immediate best seller. Von Däniken puts forth his hypothesis that, thousands of years ago, space

travellers from other planets visited the Earth, where they taught humans about technology and

influenced ancient religions. He is regarded by many as the father of ancient alien theory, also

known as the ancient astronaut theory.

Most ancient alien theorists, including von Däniken, point to two types of evidence to support

their ideas. The first is ancient religious texts in which humans witness and interact with their

gods. The question quite rightly put forth is why would God require artificially constructed

chariots to move about and destroy his enemies? The second type of evidence is physical

specimens such as artwork depicting alien-like figures and ancient architectural marvels like the

Egyptian pyramids of which present the fingerprints of an advanced technological society.

The AAT is slowly but surely becoming somewhat accepted by the mainstream science and

archaeological communities since the evidence is becoming quite ubiquitous and cannot therefore

be reasonably ignored. The AAT is without a shadow of a doubt at least deserving of and begging

for intellectual pursuit. In addition to what you are about to be presented herein this article, you

would find, if you spare the time to do your own research, literally hundreds upon hundreds of

other documented artifacts or events, and extensive accounts of ancient astronaut interventions,

all throughout human history and the entire world.

The Egyptian Pyramids

Let us begin with one of the most recognisable

structures on the planet and one of the seven wonders

of the ancient world: The Great Pyramids Of Giza.

First things first... whilst there may be found mummies

and tombs within Egypt and even references to this

practice within the great pyramid of Giza itself, no

mummies have ever been discovered in the great

pyramid. Mummies are most often found in separate

tombs, often buried under sand and architecturally

mundane.

But the purpose of this article is not to prove the pyramids weren't used as such... merely to

provide suggestions as to where the advanced technological knowledge required to build them

originated and therefore the argument that perhaps they were either built by extraterrestrials or at

least designed by them.

Believe it or not but there are actually many, many more ancient pyramids and highly advanced

ancient constructions all over the world, all of a similarly massive size and complex level of

engineering. All these buildings share one thing in common ~ they are all located on one straight

line that circles the entire globe. It is thought that since the people who built these pyramids all

around the globe all had advanced knowledge of astronomy and mathematics, that they were in

fact travellers of not only the world, but perhaps the stars.

If not the stars, then they may certainly have been handed down their knowledge of the stars by

people from them. For there are many aspects of these pyramids, including precise astronomical

relationships, that startle the archaeological and scientific communities.

Modern acclaimed engineers and scientists all agree that the Great Pyramid of Giza could not be

built even with today's modern technology or knowledge. The task would be simply too

enormous to comprehend. Even the great buildings of Dubai, are merely eye candy compared to

the Great Pyramid of Giza. Let us examine why this is so...

The great pyramid is made of 2,300,000

blocks of stone. Most of these blocks

averages 2-5 tons, but some up to 50 and

70 tons. The weight of the Great Pyramid

is calculated at 5-7 million tons. It is

scientifically impossible for this building

to have been built with merely ropes and

pulleys.

In order for the pyramid to have been built this way in the 20 years standard Egyptologists claim,

the ancient Egyptians would have had to locate, cut, shape, move, lift and perfectly position each

block every 2 minutes continuously throughout the day and night in order to meet this suggested

deadline. Not only this, but to cut and shape the stones specifically to fit a pre-designed "jigsaw

puzzle" template, which when fitted together strengthens the entire building to be earthquake

proof. In plain English: it is not possible.

Furthermore, when one studies the mathematics integrated into the buildings we find something

even more astounding. When the dimensions of the pyramid are measured, compared and

computed together, we find Pi and the Golden Number all throughout the construction.

It doesn't end there. If one subtracts the inner base from the outer base we get the speed of light.

In fact we needn't even demonstrate the maths to explain the mystery of this wondrous

construction. Merely walking about inside the pyramid presents to you a conundrum. How does

one see in the pitch black darkness which fills the building in every passage, hole and crack? Well

that's easy you might suggest... they used burning torches. Indeed not. For a burning torch

produces one thing of which there is absolutely nought anywhere throughout the pyramid... soot.

We can conclude therefore that the people who built the great pyramid of Giza had a light source

which produced zero pollution. Do we have any physical evidence of this? Well, it would appear

that since the light source they used cannot have been primitive, but advanced, that the drawings

we find here depicting light bulbs are in fact... light bulbs. In fact, if you understand the logic

herein, you could argue that perhaps their light source would have been more advanced than that

which is depicted in their artworks - indeed it may well have been - the ancient Egyptians were

also artistically inclined and so these drawings are most certainly metaphorical representations of

a more complex light technology.

Another feature of the Giza pyramid that appears to be universal

throughout all other pyramids around the world, is that of

precision drill holes. The drill holes found near the base of the Giza

pyramid and around other sites mentioned herein this article, can

only have been made with the equivalent of modern machinery.

They are deep holes, perfectly smooth, like diamond, that bore

down into the toughest of stone.

Christopher Dunn, a well respected engineer and author, calculated the feed rate of contemporary

drills to be 0.0002 inch per revolution. This calculation scientifically establishes that the Egyptians,

or the people who built the pyramids, used drills with a feed rate that carved 500 times deeper per

revolution than today's drills. Christopher Dunn summarises his findings by suggesting the

Egyptians were using Ultrasound drilling tools.

The Sphinx is yet another wonder of the AAT. According to some modern archaeologists, it

appears to have been weathered not only by wind... but by rain. Rain would not have fallen in

Giza for at least several thousand years, which means the pyramids may very well have been built

thousands of years before conventional claims... when Giza was in fact a tropical rainforest.

Other similar pyramids, some enormous, have also been sighted in China by satellite and

occasionally by ground, but strangely the Chinese government not only deny people access but

are growing trees and forests on them to erase knowledge of their existence. Are the Chinese

trying to hide knowledge of extraterrestrial intervention and therefore that an advanced or free

energy source must exist?

All I have explained about Giza is really just the tip of the ice burg. Oh.. there is so much more.

film Revelations Of The Pyramids, which explains all these facts, including testimonies from

acclaimed scientists and engineers, in great detail.

Puma Punku

Located in the Bolivian highlands, Puma Punku is a

field of ancient stone ruins, dating back thousands of

years, scattered with giant, finely carved blocks. Many

of these blocks are large H blocks, cut so precisely that

they can only have been manufactured with a

technology similar to that of the 21st century.

There are also large blocks which, just as we found at

Giza, have been drilled with a power tool. The

circular drill holes are so smooth and accurate that

they would have been more than impossible for an ancient civilisation to produce. Ancient alien

theorists have hypothesized that extraterrestrials with advanced engineering techniques created

the site or advised the people of the time how to build it.

The purpose of these stones and the site itself has been investigated by archaeologists and

engineers. Whilst no absolute conclusion has been made, closer study of the stone H blocks reveals

precision dove tail joints and a complex interlocking jigsaw construction method. When the blocks

are reconstructed at scale in a lab and fitted together

in various ways, they reveal two possible uses or

purposes to their manufacturing. One is that of a

pivoted runway for rocket or jet powered aircraft to

take off and ascend. The other is that of a fortress with

massive colossal grand doors. In fact the construction

method is so advanced that further study of the

fortress reveals its standing strength to be practically

impenetrable to even some modern weaponry.

The Nazca Lines

Etched into a high plateau in Peru's Nazca Desert, a series

of ancient designs stretching more than 50 miles has

baffled archaeologists for decades. The whole area

resembles none other than a colossal giant airport, covered

in extremely long straight runways in all different

directions, crossing and intersecting each other just as you

would find at a modern air or space port.

Even today, moving all this raw material, in some cases removing entire hill tops, would require

significantly powerful machinery. One hypothesis is that these lines are the remains of a massive

mining operation by extraterrestrials and that the artistic drawings were perhaps "moments of

fun" whilst they worked. The Nazca location is extremely abundant in many useful materials.

Along with simple lines, artistic drawings and mathematically

complex geometric shapes, they include drawings of animals,

birds and humans, some measuring more than 600 feet across.

Because of their colossal size, the figures can only be appreciated

from way up in the air and because there is no evidence that the

Nazca people, who inhabited the area between 300 B.C. and 800

A.D., invented flying machines, it is suggested that these aerial

pointers were for other worldly travellers with whom they were in contact. According to the

Ancient Astronaut Thesis the figures might have been used as visual aerial pointers, just as

lighthouses guide ships and light flares guide modern aircraft. These massive pictures were

possibly guides to extraterrestrial aircraft as they came in for landing.

Perhaps they were even guides created by alien miners for other alien miners.

The Maya

The Maya is a Mesoamerican civilization,

noted for the only known fully developed

written language of the pre-Columbian

Americas, as well as for its art,

architecture, mathematical and

astronomical systems. The Maya had

advanced knowledge of astronomy and

mathematics... so much so in fact that they

could calculate the length of a year to the

accuracy of a modern day atomic clock.

K'inich Janaab' Pakal was a Mayan ruler. Pakal initiated a building program at his capital that

produced some of Maya civilization's finest art and architecture. The large carved stone

sarcophagus lid in the Temple of Inscriptions is a famous piece of Classic Maya art. According to

standard archaeologists, the artwork depicts Lord Pakal descending into Xibalba, the Maya

underworld.

Yet upon closer inspection this seems not only strange but absurd. For a start, why does

descending into the underworld require one to be attached to a physical construct that isn't even

provided in the burial chamber itself? Even more fascinating, when you study the painting

carefully, you will notice that the physical construct within which Pakal sits, actually resembles

quite clearly the inner capsule of a space craft.

The following observations have been made:

Either he is receiving oxygen through a nose piece,

or it extends to his right eye as a

telescopic eye piece.

Both his hands are actively operating

controls.

The heel of his left foot is positioned

on an adjustable pedal.

He is sitting on a chair/seat, posed like

an astronomer or astronaut, with an

array of complicated objects and

controls all about him.

There is a plume of fiery smoke

bellowing out from the rear of the capsule.

Indeed the "spaceship" isn't entirely logically designed by modern means - but that is only so if

you regard the drawing as an accurate scientific representation. Let us not forget this is art and not

only that but art created by a spiritual society. Therefore since this drawing unlikely represents

anything else, we can conclude the artwork is a metaphorical portrayal of an astronomer, scientist

mathematician and space age traveller.

The "naysayers" often like to argue that a civilisation with such advanced scientific knowledge

wouldn't choose to live in heavy stone buildings or walk bare footed about the forest.

The Maya were jungle people, granted not always the sweet and nice, but they were more

interested in imitating and blending with the wild than creating a surplus of superfluous,

redundant inventions. As such "technology" would have been to them a mere magic with which to

bring sorcery to their otherwise jungle kingdom.

Besides, it was more a case of a young people ruled by a powerful Lord, someone from the stars.

Vimanas

Many Sanskrit epics, which were written in India

more than two millennia ago, contain references to

mythical flying machines called vimanas. Pointing to

similarities between descriptions of vimanas and

reports by people who claim to have seen

extraterrestrial aircraft, ancient alien theorists have

suggested that astronauts from other planets visited

India during ancient times.

In the ancient Vymanka-Shastra (science of

aeronautics), there is a description of a Vimana: "An

apparatus which can go by its own force, from one

place to place or globe to globe". Thirty-one parts-of

which the machine consists are described, including a

photographing mirror underneath. The text also

enumerates 16 kinds of metal that are needed to

construct the flying vehicle.

Ancient Indian texts, such as the Vaimanika Shastra, a fourth century B.C. text written by

Bharadvajy The Wise, describe these craft, including diagrams, in great detail. The text gives

details of the power source which was often a combination of mercury and solar energy, pulse jet

engines, weapon systems and anti-gravity. Similar ancient Indian texts provide historical accounts

of how they were not only the vehicles, but the weapons of the Gods, who fought great battles

against each other in the sky above the Indian people.

Space Men & Space Craft

Various ancient artifacts have been found all over the world, many paintings,

carvings and sculptures, which depict what can only be described as

humanoid beings dressed in space suits, with breathing apparatus and there

are even found ornaments resembling spacecraft. One sculpture here which

vaguely looks like a bird, in fact cannot be a bird since upright tail fins are not

found in nature, only aircraft and similarly the artifact appears to feature a

fuel chamber. Other similar golden space ship ornaments feature round nose-

caps only suitable for high altitude flight. Even more fascinating, the other

artifact pictured here appears to feature three rocket thrusters at the rear and

to contain a humanoid dressed in a spacesuit.

Piri Reis Map

In 1929, a group of historians found an amazing map drawn on

a gazelle skin. Research showed that it was a genuine

document drawn in 1513 by Piri Reis, a famous admiral of the

Turkish fleet in the sixteenth century. Piri Reis compiled and

copied the data from a large number of source maps, some of

which dated back to the fourth century BC or earlier.

Yet what is overwhelmingly astounding about this artifact, is

that not only does it show the continents in exquisite detail

before mankind had even the technology to be so accurate, but

that it shows the coastline of Antarctica 300 years before it had

even been discovered and before it had ever been covered in

ice!

Official scientific studies claim that the ice covering Antarctica has been there for at least

thousands if not a million years. Needless to say, the fact that this map exists proves that once

upon a time, people must have been walking, sailing and even flying around our planet, mapping

it and analysing it in great detail... before man had even invented fire.

And So In Time...

Today mankind finds itself racing towards the cosmos, exploring our solar system, seeking out

new worlds and striving ever so passionately to discover life elsewhere and perhaps life not as we

know it.

A space race? Indeed. But who is racing who?

More and more evidence to support an ancient astronaut thesis seems to be discovered with each

and every passing day... and so in time... maybe we won't need to race against the stars... maybe

the stars will reveal once and for all... finally, that they have been right here, on planet Earth, since

the dawn of existence itself.
