Eligibility• Be New York state residents (one

year or more)

• Be historically underrepresented (African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American) or be economically disadvantaged (documentation must be provided)

• Be a full-time student (12 or more credit hours)

• Intend to pursue a major/career in the STEM fields and/or the licensed professions

Students who do not meet the above academic criteria may be admitted on a probationary basis subject to CSTEP oversight and review.

The following CSTEP professions are licensed, registered or certified by the New York State Board of Regents.

The Le Moyne College Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) was developed to prepare individuals for professional licensure or to enter careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Funded through the New York State Education Department, the program provides historically underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students services and activities to prepare them for entry into CSTEP-targeted professions. Enrichment activities are focused on (1) Academic Excellence, (2) Leadership, (3) Professional Development (4) Personal development and community service.
