STATION 1Do You Know Me?
Materials: Costumes and Accessories (everyone should bring
something)
Instructions:
1. Have One Representative per Group.
2. Have the representatives wear costumes and accessories
behind a divider.
3. Show the other students their representative for about 10
seconds then hide him/her again.4. After the countdown, have the
Group tell their teacher
representative 10 things about him/her.
5. The teacher will answer Yes or No only.
Yes= No=
6. Go to the next station when the group gets 10 correct
answers.
Explanation: You used a lot of words to talk about your
team representative. Now, if you leave this room and someone
asks you to Tell me about (childs name) you could talk about
him/her because you have looked at him/her closely. Today weare
going to find out how Jesus asked his friends to talk about
him.
STATION 2Groupie!
Materials: Camera (T.Joanna), Masking Tape
Instructions:
1. The group should pose as a picture of the following scenesin
order.
a. Jesus Diedb. He rose againc. The Church
2. A photo will be taken by our camera man for every scene.3. Go
to the next station when finished.Explanation: Being a witness is
exactly what you did a
while ago when you talked about what your friend looked like
and what they were wearing. If you knew them, you would also
be able to talk about the things they like and dont like,
how
much fun they are, where they live and what they are good
at.
That is called being a Witness. That is what Jesus asked us
to
do. Talk about Him to other people, how Jesus died and roseagain
until the First Church started. Tell what He is like, what
He is good at, why He is such a good friend, and how much He
loves everyone.
STATION 3To the Ends of the Earth
Materials: Set of Puzzle Pieces (T. JJ)
Instructions:
1. Give each member at least 1 puzzle piece.2. Solve the given
picture puzzle in standing position.3. Go to the next station when
finished.
Explanation: We can tell about Jesus to our Home
(Jerusalem), Province(Judea), other tribes in the
Philippines(Samaria) and people of other ethnicities and
countries (to the ends of the earth).
STATION 4Unstoppable
Materials: Beanbag, Awana Game Square
Instructions:1. The group should arrange themselves from tallest
to
smallest.
2. Both hands must be placed on the waist of the person infront
of them.
3. The tallest one will carry the beanbag using his/her head.4.
The starting line is at the side of their team color.5. They will
go around the circle without dropping the
beanbag.
6. After the smallest member enters their team color area,he/she
will get their pin at the middle of the game square.
7. Go to the next station and finish the race!Explanation: As
children of God, big or small, we can
share to people about Jesus. The bean bag represents any
interference/hindrance (fear, rejection, age, limitations, etc.)
for
you, children, to share about Jesus. But together, you will
finish
the race, not giving up despite the beanbag holding us back.
With the power of the Holy Spirit, you will be His witness
around the world because He is Unstoppable!
STATION 5Send Me out
Materials: BBQ Sticks, Table Tennis BallInstructions:
1. Form the given barbeque sticks into two parallel lines,
1-inch apart, to make a path to the other end.
2. A Pre-school Representative will blow the Table TennisBall to
the other side.
3. Congratulations!! You have finished the race! :)Explanation:
The Table Tennis Ball is the good news and
the Barbeque Sticks are us. We relay the good news of
Jesus.There are so many people who need to hear about how
wonderful Jesus is. Sometimes we just need to do somethingkind
for someone else to be a witness for Jesus. Someday,
theyll be the ones sharing the good news of Jesus to the
next
person and so on.
As an application, can you say to yourself God, Send Me out
to the world to make you known? and why?(Ask them one by
one or at least 5 children)
Group Discussion
Ask them what they did for every station, and give the
explanation for each activity.
