Introduction I have found it very difficult to find Sunday school material that uses only the King James Bible. Most prepared lessons and other resources use verses from other versions that change, add, or delete words and complete sentences. These alterations change the meanings of verses, and often change doctrines taught in the Scripture.

Although a teacher can make his own lessons using the accurate KJV, it is even more difficult to find material for the students to take home or complete in class. To solve this need, I have created my own newsletter (The Bible View available for free at www.OpenThouMineEyes.com), puzzles, and col-oring sheets. I only wanted to teach my students Scripture from the preserved Word of God, not an altered version.

This booklet has 52 word searches, one for each week of the year, that reinforce the learning of many of the most popular verses in the Bible and many Bible facts. I am providing this for others that have also found themselves in the predicament that they could not find additional Sunday school resources to use in their classroom, in a homeschool or Christian school environment, or for their own benefit. Of course, only the King James Version is used.

These word searches were designed to be used by students older than second grade. Some puzzles are more difficult than others; some are easier. These puzzle are suitable for a wide range of grades. They can also be used by adults.

At the very end of the booklet are the answers to the puzzles. In cases where the word to find is one, two, and even three letters, it is possible that there will be more than one location for the same word that will not be shown on the answer sheet.

With this word search booklet (and with my other Sunday school material available at www.OpenThouMineEyes.com), it is not necessary to purchase one booklet per student. The original purchaser can purchase just one e-book (pdf format) and print as many pages as are needed on their computer’s printer or on a copy machine.

I hope this e-book is a blessing to you and your students!

Are You Sure? Reading the Word of God and knowing about it is very important. However, just knowing it and obey-ing many of the commandments recorded within its pages will not guarantee anyone an eternity in Heaven. Being a good person, attending church, obeying many of God’s commandments, and doing many good deeds are wonderful things to do, but doing them will also not get anyone to Heaven — according to God’s Word.

The Bible records God’s way to have His promise of an eternity in Heaven. Since it is His Heaven, then it is His way that counts; not man’s unbiblical ideas, philosophies, or religions. Here is what the Bible says needs to believed and trusted on to have an eternity with Him:

To know that we are all sinners. “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” Rom. 3:10 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Rom. 3:23 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” I John 1:8

There is a price that will be paid for our sins! “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Romans 6:23 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” Romans 5:12 “Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” James 1:15

Jesus died so that, whosoever would ask, could receive His death as payment for their sins! “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Acts 2:21 “For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” Romans 5:7-9 “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:” I Peter 3:18

Just ask! If you recognize you are a sinner, and do not want to pay the price for being a sinner, then ask to be saved! “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto right-eousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

That’s all that is required to be saved from Hell. Often the response is, “That can’t be it. It’s too easy.” Well, its not so easy if you have not been saved yet. People think they have to do something to earn their way to Heaven. That is the whole point of what Jesus did. There is nothing you can do to achieve Heaven, as you are a sinner. Jesus, however, was qualified, and He did it all for you already! Accept what Jesus has done for you and be saved today!

If you want to be saved, just talk sincerely to the Lord in prayer. The words are not really important, as God is more interested in the sincerity of your heart. If you are serious about being saved, pray some-thing like this: “Lord, I am a sinner. I have broken your heart with my sin. I am sorry for my sin; and with your help will try to keep from sin.

I am not worthy of Heaven because of my sin, but Jesus paid the price for all my sins. I believe He died on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Please forgive me for my sins; and save me today!”

If you have asked Jesus to save you, please e-mail at [email protected], that I may rejoice with you over your very important decision.
