SET UP GUIDE OF UNIT:

• The tunnel will be pre-assembled and packaged

• Dimensions of the packaged crate: (3m unit: 3080 x2180 x 580 and weighs + - 391 kgs- Contents and crate)

• Our unique knock-in design allows the you to assemble the tunnel within a short time frame by

aligning all sides of the tunnel and knocking them together with your rubber mallet (supplied)

• Once the structure is assembled the cladding can be secured easily by inserting the push-in clips into the pre-drilled holes of the frame

• Simply knock the frame together, securing the push-in clips into a locked position

• A step by step manual will be included with the product and an assembly video will be available on our website

USAGE CONSUMPTION SPECIFICATIONS:

• Continuous use with 8 misters• 42 ml per minute, per mister• 0.333L per min (333ml per min) using 8 misters

➢ It takes approximately 3 seconds to complete a ‘walkthrough’ from entrance to exit of the unit.

➢ Water consumption per person estimated at +- 30ml based on 4-5 seconds per person

MISTING SYSTEM EQUIPMENT:

• The pump, battery, charger controller and inverter is secured inside a waterproof rugged plastic suitcase. The suitcase can be removed easily by just unplugging the solar wiring plug and the 2 x pipes. The piping containing the misters will be pre-fitted each section for easy connection once structure is assembled.

• Included with 8 misters are stainless steel nozzles for durability and to create a super fine mist. The battery supplied can supply power for a estimated capacity of 4000 (2 x 60litre tanks) people passing through the tunnel without having to be charged, but due to the solar panel connected permanently the power supply has no restrictions.

• If you would prefer to use a permanent power source, the misting system is 220V compatible and therefore can be used with the power supply supplied.

• A motion sensor will switch the pump on, and a timer will be pre-set to allow 4 to 5 seconds per person to walk through the tunnel to eliminate any wasted of sanitiser.

MISTING PRODUCT- FAQ’S

1. How long has the product been available?The product has been available in different formulation since 2008.

2. Is the product made in SA?

Yes. The Bio Consulting manufactures the product concentrate and the ready to use product is manufactured in our own factory. The bottling is done at other venues. We have a factory in CT and JHB.

3. Is the chemical safe for humans, especially children, the elderly and animals?

Yes, it has been approved by all the below departments and organisations:• Ceres organic approval • Ceres confirmation of non-chemical

content by Eurofins (Germany) • Confirmation of food safety from SA

Dept of Health • SABS Formulation approval for safety • SANAS approved disinfectant fungicidal

and bactericidal report

The Flavonoid range of products are well known for more than 14 years in the agriculture industry, focus in on the health of all crops. Focus has been put on the microbiome of all living creatures – from plants and animals to humans.

4. Will the product cause any harm should I breathe it in?

No, health benefits to exposed individuals whilst promoting a protective and restorative respiratory experience to the individual. The formulations can be absorbed through the skin and the mucus membranes of the body, nose, mouth and lungs, making it a very suitable carrier for the flavonoids to be absorbed in the bloodstream and as such reach the important infected areas in the respiratory channel which is directly affected by Covid – 19. The positive effect of flavonoids on the different aspects of human health have been extensively researched over a very long period

6. Alcohol Versus Non - Alcohol (organic) composition?

Our product is non-alcohol based because alcohol has distinct disadvantages in terms of its acceptability in sanitizing as we formulated it. It is harmful to the skin and has specific disadvantages as solvent for use in mist sprays. Over and above the fact that it damages the skin, the inhalation of alcohol has distinct disadvantages to human health. This has been extensively documented in the literature. The dangers of using alcohol in a mist spray are therefore well known and not an option. The viscosity of alcohol is also not very conducive for use in mist sprays.

5. Is the product flammable?

With specific reference to underground mining, our product has NO flashpoint, is NOT flammable and thus is the perfect solution for underground mining environment and is effective above ground too.

7. What about the use of Chlorine?

The use of chlorine to spray in confined areas is also life threatening if not extremely well controlled at VERY LOW concentrations not exceeding 0.1 – 0.3 ppm. Dosages of 50 ppm as mentioned are deadly and can cause SEVERE human health issues.

Flavonoids against viruses:

There are many studies on Flavonoid activity on a wide range of DNA and RNA viruses. In general, flavonoids work by several mechanisms. Pathogens and other non-cellular micro-organisms can survive for short periods on surface areas due to a variety of support systems. They can block attachment and entry of viruses into cells, interfere with various stages of viral replication processes or translation and polyprotein processing to prevent the release of the viruses to infect other cells. Different flavonoids have been found to inhibit viral activity through various mechanisms, namely: • Flavonoids binding to specific extracellular regions of the virus such as viral proteins present on the capsids. • Flavonoids that prevent attachment or entry of the virus into host cells. In some cases, flavonoids can bind to virions and modify the virus structure. Though the virus can still internalize, the process of viral uncoating is stalled. • Early-stage replication inhibitors. • Transcription and translation blockers. • Inhibition of late stages of maturation such as inhibition of assembly/packaging and release. • Flavonoids that can inhibit viral infections by interfering with host factors that are required for successful infection or modulating the immune system to reduce the viral load. Based on the mentioned antiviral mechanisms of action, flavonoids can be prophylactic inhibitors, therapeutic inhibitors or indirect inhibitors by interaction with the immune system.
