Lighting as a Decorative Element Color, drama, mood and theme can all be expressed with lighting. Ampa’s experienced lighting designers help clients achieve the right mood for special occasions. Lighting can be used to paint the room with your color palate, project decorative images, accent selected features and much more.

Drapes, Stretcher Curtains, and Fabrics Soften a room with fabric and curtains. Stretchers, drapes, and fabrics of all colors can be hung to cover walls and ceilings producing an elegant event space. Pictured at near and far left are examples of stretcher curtain productions with lights and gobos resulting in fantastic productions.

Room Conversions Ampa takes a raw space and produces an incredible venue for elegant affairs. Pictured on this and other pages are examples of room conversions using stretch curtains, custom-designed lighting, and scenery. At far left is a room conversion for Fauquier County High School. The student committee’s primary concern was concealing the walls of the gym while producing a “Starlight Night” theme.

Room Illumination Have a certain mood in mind? Worried about house lights “washing you out?” Replace the house lights with Ampa’s mood creating theatrical lights. Theatrical lighting offers a rainbow of color to work with and avoids the “wash out” caused by house lights.

UltraViolet Lighting Want to glow? Also known as black light, UV lighting is the trick to make you glow. Ampa em-ploys true UV cannons, each of which will cover an area of approximately 15ft by 30ft.

Confetti Confetti is used at many special events including political rallies, high school proms during prom court and senior walks and other celebrations. Choose from continuous confetti storms, streamers, bursts, special effects, unlimited colors and more. Easily cleaned up with a leaf blower, confetti is the best special effect for jubilant occasions.

Fog Many effects are available, from localized effects and ground hugging mist to complete room coverage. Fog in combination with a dance floor lighting system enhances the lighting effects.
