Guidelines

Amity School of Applied Sciences, ASASL, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus

is pleased to invite students to compete in who is the best ‘Among Us’.

Among Us is an online multiplayer game for eight to ten players. The game takes place in

a space-themed settings, where each player takes on one of the two roles in which two

being Impostors and rest being Crewmates. The goal of the Crewmates is to identify the

Impostors, eliminate them, and complete the task around the map. The Impostors goal is to

kill the Crewmates before they complete all of their tasks without revealing their

identities.Players suspected to be Impostors may be eliminated via a majority vote, which

any player may initiate by calling an emergency meeting anytime or reporting a dead body.

Crewmates win if all Impostors are eliminated or all tasks are completed whereas Impostors

win if there is an equal number of Impostors and Crewmates, or if a critical sabotage goes

unresolved.

Eligibility conditions for Participants:

1. Participants from all backgrounds, genders, and geographies are welcome. 2. The AYF21 Competitions for University & College students are open to everyone who is at

least 18 years of age and is currently enrolled in a programme of study of minimum one-year duration in a recognized University or College and has a valid ID card of the University/College.

3. Participation in the AYF21 Competitions is for free. The AYF21 Organizing Committee can close the registration to any of its competition/s without any notice whenever it deems fit.

Registration & Selection of Participants:

1. All applicants must register as an individual before 10th March midnight Registration is only possible through the online registration form available on https://www.amity.edu/ayf/

2. Each applicant must enter the required information on the registration form. No late submissions will be accepted and any incomplete, false, erroneous, fraudulent, forged, tampered forms will not be considered.

3. Registration is to be done online through the online registration form available on https://www.amity.edu/ayfse/

4. Join our Discord server through the link https://discord.gg/uNepjZFGaM 5. It is mandatory for all the participants.

Concept of the game:

The participants will register individually on the AYF website https://www.amity.edu/ayfse/and the teams will be created by the organizers.

This competition is open to all i.e. all the UG and PG Students will be able to participate.

The participants will be informed to join through the discord server and along with them we will also be connected at discord for solving their queries and any of their doubts.

There will be three different maps for the respective days.

The participants (Imposter/Crewmates) who survive on day 1 will be eligible to play on day 2 and similar rule will be followed on day 3.

All the mics will be muted during the game. Only the respective coordinators corresponding to each team will unmute their mic otherwise the participants would be disqualified.

Participants can un-mute their mic when the emergency meeting in the game is called.

If there are 10 participants in each group then out of those, 2 will be the imposters and rest eight would be the crewmates.

Discord Rules:

Discord is a platform where we can communicate to each other.

There will be 11 servers among which 1 will be the coordinator to flow the information and rest 10 for the participants for gaming.

In 1 server 100 participants will be there and every volunteer will be a part in it.

The screen sharing will be done by the participants of a team so that the winners will be announced according to the observation from screensharing.

Announcement of Winners 14th March 2021

Judgement Criteria: The participants (Imposter/Crewmate) who manages to survive by the end of the 3rd day will be the winner of the game.

Prizes: Cash coupons for the winner.

E-certificates will be given to all the participants.
