DESCRIPTIONThis cartridge is an Armour Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabotwith Tracer (APFSDS-T) type. It consists of a subcalibre fin stabilizedtungsten alloy projectile launched by means of a lightweight sabot. Thewindshield is designed to provide excellent penetration characteristicsagainst high obliquity targets. The use of a specially designed singlebase propellant ensures good wear life characteristics.
