TIGER I Awards to Ports
• The volume of applications received by ports was 7% of the 1457 total number of applications received.
• 100 applications were received from seaports and reviewed by interagency teams comprised of members from FHWA, FTA, FRA, MARAD and OST.
• $120.44 million in grants were awarded to seaports. These were the first such infrastructure grants awarded to the seaport industry by the federal government.
• The grants were awarded to 7 ports in the States of CA, HI, RI, MS, ME, IL & AK
TIGER* Grants for Related Infrastructure Dev.
• TIGER I:– California Green Trade Corridor– Quonset Wind Energy/Surface Transportation
• TIGER II:– Port Manatee Marine Highway
* Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery
