Ancient yogis understood how touse cold water therapy to achieve absolutely precise effects in thebody. Cold water therapy was also practiced in the 1800’s at theKneipp Sanitarium in Germany. Over 4000 patients a week were treat-ed using cold water therapy. Dr. Kneipp understood that if you havegood circulation all the way down to the legs, it gives you good circu-lation all the way up to the head.

Today, we understand that coldwater helps to oxidize the cells oftissues, increasing the absorption ofoxygen and aiding in the elimina-tion of carbonic acid. In makingparts of the body cold, you are actu-ally asking your own circulation sys-tem to warm you from the inside.This exercising of the circulatorysystem builds up a resistance in thebody to take care of ordinary situa-tions—drafts, cold weather, andexposure to pathogens—all of whichmight cause illnesses if you’re in aweakened state.

What’s remarkable about cold watertherapy is that after the first shock of thecold, you actually will feel warm, notcold. Your blood rushes out to meet thechallenge of the cold andbegins to generate its own heat.This is better than a sauna or asteam bath, where your body ispassively heated; here it is anactive process, activating yourentire circulatory system andchanging your entire blood-stream. Cold water therapytotally rebuilds your body andyou will feel simultaneouslyinvigorated and calm.

The following are yogicuses of cold water using yourshower:

For a clear mind: Let coldwater fall just below your lowerlip for 15 minutes.

For energy: Let cold waterfall between your eyebrowsand upper lip for 15 minutes.

To induce sleepiness: Let thewater fall on your forehead for15 minutes.

Cold water for colds: Takea cold sponge bath. The bath-room needs to be warm; thensponge your whole body withcold water. Wrap up quicklyin a sheet or big towel, without dry-ing yourself. Hurry to bed and liethere covered as warmly as possiblefor an hour. Do this every hour fourtimes. Then get up and dress warmly.

You'll notice that each sponging getsyou to feel warmer. By the thirdsponge, you should actually begin tosweat when you are in bed. Conges-tion in your nose will clear up; in factyour nose may begin to run profuselyfor a while. And your head will feellighter. It's a guaranteed one day curefor a chest or head cold. The next dayyou'll feel 100% better.

Cold water for infections andinflammations: Good for local infec-tions and inflammations. Use a coldwater spray on the affected area; thencover yourself without drying andrelax. Repeat this several times.

Cold water for overweight: Keepsthe glands in good working order.There is almost always some kind of

glandular disturbance in an over-weight condition. Also, cold waterimproves bowel and kidney function-ing by discarding toxins which oftensettle in as extra weight. Do a hip

spray in the morning: aim the showerspray directly at your hip. Do thisseveral times, then wrap up and jumpinto bed for a half hour. Remove thewrapping and stay in bed for anotherhalf hour. Do a back spray in theevening: you need someone to aimthe water at your back. Go up anddown the back several times, wrapand go to bed.

For a complete body rejuvenation:This is the most powerful yogic waterapplication. Yogis believe that dailyperformance of this cold water show-er will insure health and long life.First, coat your skin with oil. As youstand under the cold shower, massageeach part of your body. The oil willhelp to keep the heat sealed in.

Repeat the cold dousing andself-massage several timesuntil you’ve been in the show-er for 15 minutes. By the timeyou get out, you should feeltoasty warm or even hot. Thentowel dry yourself; put onwarm clothes and wrap your-self in a blanket.

You can also create thesame effect as the Kneippwater walk.

Kneipp water walk: Fill thetub with water just a fewinches as cold as you cantolerate, and walk back andforth. It may be painful atfirst, particularly if your cir-culation is poor. But you willfeel your feet begin to get alittle numb, and then warm.This is the time to step out.Build up tolerance for beingable to walk for five minutes.If you're really adventure-some, you can try the samething outside in new, cleansnow. In both circumstances,warm your feet by continu-

ing to walk for a while with shoesand socks.

som and bloom through so many tal-ented people. This is not to say thatsuch a creative ground-swell did notexist in previous cycles on Earth. Itcertainly did, in many cultures andin many time periods. Life alwaysgoes in cycles. But the Renaissancewas different. It was an explosion ofart, science and wisdom. Since thenwe have seen incredible andunprecedented change in every facetof life on our planet.

There is a reason and a season foreverything that happens in ourwor ld , and as we reach the endof the second decade of the 21stcentury, big changes lie ahead. Anew spring time, a new season ofadvancement is on the horizon.Sadly, it does not seem thisway right now. But, if we donot behave like an ostrichand bury our head in thesand, we can feel all aroundus the harbingers of muchneeded change.

In our modern era, the bigpicture process of theAscension plan, a spirituallymotivated and divinelydesigned plan to upgradelife on Earth and throughoutthe galaxy, began to roll outin the ‘60’s.

Remember John Lennon’sinspiring song “Imagine”?His words were both portentand prediction. The Akashic Records are a vast domain of ener-getic imprints much like a movie library. In order topull data from this place, a person works with “ref-erence librarians,” who are entering the energeticfield. The reference librarians embody this informa-tion and then travel to the edge of the energeticfield known as the Akashic Records to communi-cate with whoever communicates with them.

In an earlier era only shamans and mysticsaccessed the Akashic Records. They “traveledthrough the dimensions to get to 11th dimension” andthen developed their own pathways to access thismost sacred information. Since 1978, humanity hasbeen provided with a major dispensation to connectwith this energetic field. The reason Akashic Recordshave been made available for anyone to “access?” Ithas to do with the end of an age, or end of an era.
