Collision brings together the world’s fastest-growing startups and most influential companies alongside leading international investors and media.

What is ALPHA?ALPHA is our program for early-stage startups. It’s an arena for the world’s most exciting and fastest growing startups to come together with tech’s most influential investors, media and world-leading companies.

Our team spend tens of thousands of hours each year identifying the most promising entrepreneurs to join us at our events. We’re delighted that when people choose to join us, they often come back.

If you’re selected for ALPHA, you’ll get to exhibit on one conference day, three event tickets, an opportunity to access to one-on-one meetings with our attending investors and partners, startup workshops and roundtables, and introductions to our global network.

Here’s a taste of ALPHA at Collision.

The PR, traffic and exposure that our startup got from PITCH has been a huge boost to us and permanently put us on the map.Connectera, former winners of PITCH

One startup will prevail

PITCH is the startup competition at Collision that brings together the world’s leading early-stage startups for a live, on-stage pitching battle. It’s open to any pre-vetted ALPHA or BETA startup attending Collision that has received under $3 million in funding to date and has not had a discernible change in business model in the previous three years.

The top 66 startups that apply will be chosen to present in front of our distinguished judging panels and thousands of attendees. Following the group stages, 12 startups will advance to the semi-finals. Just three startups will make it to the final on Center Stage where they will fight it out for a chance to be crowned winner of PITCH at Collision 2018.

Some success stories

We like to think of Collision as a meeting place for the companies of both today and tomorrow. We do all we can to put the right people in the same room at the same time. You never know what might happen – sometimes, amazing things.

Hired

Hired’s founders first met at our events, where they hit on the idea to found the company. The following year they raised their Series A, again at our events

Trello and Atlassian met at one of our events in 2015. In 2016 they met again and tabled a $425 million acquisition.

SmartThings won the top prize of $25,000 at one of our events in 2012. They raised VC from Greylock as a result and then sold to Samsung for $200 million.

Travis Kalanick attended one of our events in 2011, signed Uber’s Series B at the conference and met Goldman Sachs who also invested in that round.

Handy founder, Oisín Hanrahan, has grown the company to the leader in its space with help of $110 million raised from investors across our network.

Branch has attended our worldwide events since their Series A, along the way growing to a $60 million Series C.

Revolut were named the most popular startup at one of our events. There, they met Index who invested and later led a $66 million Series B.

Founder Divyank Turakhia has attended almost all of our events since 2010. He sold his seventh company for $900 million in 2016, without raising external capital.

OnePlus attended one of our events shortly after establishment. We helped them expand into Europe and the US – today they’ve sold tens of millions of handsets.
