Story Time!
• If you are finished filming start making a list of stories you’d like to do. Consult Dr. Google to find stories if you need to
• Start glossing (write in ASL)• You and your group will pick a children’s story to
interpret (Popsicle stick groups)• You can divide up the work how you see fit- making
sure all the parts are even– You may chose characters or each do a minute of the
story, etc.

• Time requirements – minimum of 1 minute EACH person!

Audience Expectations• Being an engaged audience member is part of your
grade• Full attention and respect is expected• No yawning, making faces, distractions, rude
gestures, or inattentive body language• Show support by pleasant faces, sitting upright and
focusing on the presenter
Presenter• Remember to breath• Stay relaxed• Remember your peers are learning
from you, sign clearly and slowly• If you make a mistake, simply
lower your hands for a brief moment and start the sentence/fingerspelled word again
• Enjoy yourself – make your presentation fun!
