•Write down your homework:▫Select one event from the timeline from class

(page R48). It will be your job to record all information on this event and add pictures so we may have a class timeline to use as a study guide.

▫Thursday you will be tested on your Key People of the American Revolution on quizlet. Tape Study Guide onto page R46 with other terms.

Timeline- Study Guide Introduction• I highly suggest using our notes from class, as

we gain them, Study Island, and any IE time readings, radio programs, etc. The information that you gain for your event will be recorded on page L47. I will give you a slip to tape on this page, so you do not forget.

•You will want to include the 5 W’s.▫Who was involved?▫What is the significance of this event?▫When?▫Where?▫Why did the event happen?

• Your mission is to pretend you are a citizen of the 13 Colonies and you are upset about all the new taxes/regulations that the British Government has begun to place on you. You feel this is unfair and that it should not be allowed. Before you take to the streets armed and ready for revolution, try a peaceful approach.

• Create a poster protesting one of the new taxes or regulations that were placed on the Colonies after the French and Indian War. Many of these regulations ended up playing into the reasoning for the American Revolution.

Class Discussion Rules•You do not interrupt someone when they are

talking. You allow for that person to finish their thoughts before raising your hand to kindly agree or disagree.

• If you disagree with a person’s ideas. You do not call their beliefs “stupid,” “dumb,” “gay,” etc. You simply say “I disagree with ____ because…”

•There is no shouting. You MUST wait until your peer finished their thoughts before you can add yours.
