s we recognize that America has become a mission field, we must embrace a fresh

call to missions and begin to ad-dress the changes that have taken place in the spiritual landscape of our nation. There must also come a new breed of missionary.

In the early days of missions, the church sent missionaries to continents. Later on, missionar-ies began to fo-cus on specific nations of the Earth. As time progressed, the Church’s mission focus became even more specific: Missionaries began to target cities and towns and smaller regions within na-tions and states. In the days ahead, especially in America and West-ern Europe, there is coming the rise of what I would call the peo-ple-group missionary.

People-group missionaries will find a way to befriend individuals and integrate themselves into bik-er groups like the Harley David-son enthusiasts or women’s groups such as the Red Hat Society. Some have a burden to reach unwed mothers or unwed fathers, while

others feel called to reach “people of ink” (those with tattoos) or the incarcerated. Wherever peo-ple cluster and converge or have things in com-

mon, God wants to reach out with the Gospel in His mighty power.

Reaping the End-Time Harvest

In previous revivals, there were prophecies about a great harvest of souls coming to Jesus in these last days. I don’t believe these new converts are all going to come in

through our Sunday morning ser-vices. God is calling us to go out into the world to win them and bring them in. That means invad-ing the marketplace and anywhere people meet regularly and share a common interest. Of course, we don’t have to agree with every cause, join in every activity, or gather under every banner people wave in the name of unity; but we have to be willing to go to groups that are considered taboo and tell them about Jesus Christ.

Are we willing to support those who are successfully reaching out to prostitutes, gang members, drug dealers, transgender peo-ple, or other controversial groups with the Gospel? Are we build-ing churches that are willing to take the backlash for stand-ing with those who are going to these people as well as with those who are coming to Christ from these groups? Are we willing to be “spoken evil of” because our church members are seen min-istering to these individuals in their environment, in their clubs, or having dinner with them?

Getting Free on God’s Timetable

Sometimes we don’t mind peo-ple coming into the church from these groups, as long as they get delivered in our own preconceived timetable. Unfortunately, some of

these folks are going to take lon-ger than others to get free. Are we willing to allow them to come and sit under the preaching and teach-ing of the Word of God for as long as it takes for them to receive Jesus and then the freedom we have ex-perienced in Him? This is the price we’re going to have to pay for the next revival! These are some of the things we’re going to have to do in order to cooperate with what God wants to do in these final hours.

America has become a mission field, and a new breed of mis-sionary is already beginning to emerge. Commotion and contro-versy will follow in their wake. We must allow these beloved emissar-ies of Christ to have a place among us with all missionary honors and privileges, and we must allow their fruit to remain in our midst. Only then will we experience the fullness of God’s revival fire in the Church and in our nation. n

HOW MANY PEOPLE LIVE IN NORTH AMERICA? The estimated number of people as of 2012 is 542 million people, of which about 314 million live in the US, 35 million in Canada, and 114 million in Mexico.

HOW MANY LANGUAGES ARE SPOKEN IN NORTH AMERICA? The situation in North America is typical. Of about 165 indigenous languages, only eight are spoken by as many as 10,000 people. About 75 are spoken only by a handful of older people, and these languages can be assumed to be on their way to extinction.

MOST AND LEAST SPIRITUAL STATES IN NORTH AMERICA Mississippi, Alabama and other Southern states are among the most highly religious states in the nation, while New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine in New England are among the least devout, according to some of the key measures used to determine levels of religiosity in the Pew Research Center’s most recent Religious Landscape Study.

I saw two bouncing oranges! In the vision, one orange bounced higher and became real bright, and then it moved back and faded. The next

one jumped up and did the same thing, and then the vision ended. I heard the Lord say, “You’ll live the first half of your life on the West Coast where oranges are important and the last half of your life on the East Coast where oranges are important.” All these years I’ve lived with this vision in the back of my mind. During the first half of my life, I ended up planting a church and a Bible school in Orange County, California. I served God there for 27 years.

Later I moved to Sarasota, Florida, thinking that anywhere in Florida would be orange-relat-ed. Then the Lord began to speak to me about planting a church, and I politely objected. “Lord, that would be unethical,” I complained. “I have many minister friends near Sarasota who have churches, and I don’t want to hurt their minis-tries in any way.”

One day I shut up long enough to hear the Lord say, “I didn’t tell you to plant the church here in Sarasota. I want you to plant it in Orange County, in the Orlando area.”

I suddenly realized that I was an hour-and-a-half outside the geo-graphic will of God for my life.

I enjoyed living in Sarasota. I loved the community, the beach-es, and the people. But I then knew with certainty that I had to leave behind my preferences in obedi-ence to God’s heavenly vision and call. When I was sure of His timing, my staff and I packed our office and moved our ministry headquarters to Orlando. We are very excited, sens-ing the great things God has in store for us and for the people of the Or-lando area.

We are currently meeting in the suburbs of Orlando, every Sunday at 5 pm at the Winter Park Commu-nity Center. Our official birth date was Easter Sunday 2017. Over one hundred people showed up from all over Florida and other states across America to celebrate the launch

of Embassy International Church (EIC).

I chose the church name careful-ly. Each word is full of meaning and emphasizes the focus and purpose of EIC’s divine destiny. Embassy is a governmental word. An embassy is a place from which ambassadors are sent forth—an ambassador being the highest-ranking person who rep-resents his or her own government while living in another country. At EIC we are God’s ambassadors rep-resenting the government of Heav-en while sojourning here on Earth. From EIC we will send ambassadors out to the world as God calls them.

The term International signifies the worldwide scope of God’s vision, reach, and call upon EIC. We are an international church, where people of diverse ages, colors, and back-grounds are welcome. No matter your predilection, passion, or past, you are invited to receive a fresh start and be equipped with the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to reach for the high call of God upon your life.

The word Church entails that EIC is a place of community and family. It’s a place where we undertake life together—individually and corpo-rately—as one in Christ while cel-

ebrating our diversity. It’s a place where children can learn the move of the Spirit while they’re young, where youth will discover the call of God on their lives early, and where families can be strengthened and pursue the call of God together in the way God intended.

Hello to all our wonderful friends of Roberts Liardon Min-istries (RLM) and Spirit Life Bible College (SLBC).

These last few years RLM has sent me to Jakarta/Tangerang, Indonesia. The ministry there was started by Putri Mutiara Sari (Philippines SLBC graduate), Mel-ody McPherson, and me. Later, I founded Commissioned 2 Go and Go Bible College International, issuing a two-year diploma with

the curriculum and DNA of RLM. Currently, we have 22 students from four different islands of In-donesia, eighteen of whom are housed in our dormitory. Approx-imately half of our students were born again through our missions to the remote area.

Twenty percent of our curric-ulum is practical. The students minister to the lost, the homeless, orphans, prisons, handicapped, and anyone in need. For several years we have been ministering in a leper village, where many have been born again and received wheelchairs and medicine.

From the very first batch of graduates, we sent them to Indo-nesia and the Asian nations. Every year young Indonesian missionar-ies go to Nepal, India, Myanmar, and throughout Indonesia. We have also sent students on mission trips to the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia.

Four years ago the Lord gave me a vision of starting permanent bas-es in Indonesia, which would then spread throughout Asia. The first one would be a blueprint for the ones to follow. We started in West Kalimantan (Borneo) with the Dayak tribe. They live in remote villages, most of which do not have electricity or a water supply. We can only get there by motorbike

or boat through the jungle. Go-ing into the villages with less than five Christians, we were amazed that within a month we had es-tablished a church of forty to sixty people and a Sunday School! This happened in every village we vis-ited. In each of the villages, even sometimes the witchdoctor or members of his family will receive Jesus. We also see many healings, such as hearing and speaking re-stored, arthritis gone, and broken bones healed. We also teach chil-dren how to read.

The second month in the vil-lage, we train Sunday School teachers and a praise and worship team. We supply Bibles or solar audio Bibles, Sunday school and youth curriculum, and sometimes will help with the church renova-tion, chairs, generator, farming, and other needs.

Our team alternates between planting churches and visiting the ones we already planted. We hope next year to split our current mis-sionary team into a second base

and continue to multiply through-out Asia!

Recently we were excited to have Robert and Irene Arand-ing join us. Over the years Pastor Roberts and SLBC alumni Melo-dy McPherson, Sandra Anderson, Tim and Rina Jorgensen, Ronda Sponseller, Keith Roussel, and Bo-nita Jones have worked with us. We greatly appreciate them and other alumni who have supported us.

There have been quite a few challenges and dramas along the way, and many international min-istries no longer exist in Jakarta. I know that our ability to persevere, function, and produce fruit in this region comes from the train-ing, DNA, missions mandate, and spiritual fathering from Pastor Roberts, Pastor Carol, and oth-ers who invested their lives in me through Spirit Life Bible College. I am grateful to see what it produced in me, but even more so amazed to see that same anointing multiplied through the young people here and spreading through Asia! n

Allow me to in-troduce myself. I am King Louie de Dios. I graduated from Spir-it life Bible College (SLBC) in 2006. We were the graduating

batch with the most number of students.

I have been married for five years to my beautiful wife, Nam-nama. We have two beautiful daughters, Vida (4 years old) and Naomi (2 years old). This year, our eldest started to attend a progres-sive pre-school.

Following my graduation, I looked for a revival church family that I can be part of and that will give me the freedom to express the training and teaching I received at SLBC. It was through Matt and Lindsay Coil (my former teachers) that I was introduced to Church So Blessed (CSB) in 2008, and I have been part of CSB since then.

Church So Blessed Internation-al is led by Pastor Hiram G. Pan-gilinan, with approximately 100 churches all over the Philippines and overseas: Japan, Italy, Singa-pore, among others. Our mission

is simple: “To walk in God’s love and give it away to the Philippines and to the world.” As CSB, our heart’s desire is to see the whole earth covered with the glory of the Lord, even as the waters cover the sea!

In 2011, I answered God’s call to pastor a church among the ur-ban poor of San Frisco Del Monte, Quezon City. This place is known for its notoriety, with numerous offenders being based in this com-munity. But where the darkness is darkest, His light will always shine the brightest. Now, our 1st church plant, known as CSB Fris-co, will celebrate its 6th Anniver-sary this coming October 22, 2017. It has been a great journey. I have learned a lot about pastoring and building relationships with other people during the church plant-ing years at CSB Frisco. Little did I know that this was all preparation for greater things.

SLBC Students Still Bearing Fruit Around the World!Earlier this year, we were offered

the task of pastoring a bigger flock, this time in Caloocan City, where the church is located at the 3rd floor of Victory Central Mall.

We moved forward and gave the leadership of CSB Frisco to one of our pastors, who had helped us start it. The church setting in Caloocan City is quite different compared to CSB Frisco. In the current church, we have people attending from Caloocan City, Valenzuela City, Malabon, and as far as Bulacan. The church we first planted focuses more on reaching the people from the less fortunate community.

In the middle of this year, I was given the privilege to pastor the students of Catalyst Leadership Academy (CLA), which is run by Global Impact Pastor Amy Mu-ranko-Gahan and Pastor Michael Gahan.

Before the five-week CLA train-ing ended, I had a great time with my SLBC classmates, who are also part of the Global Impact staff.

We had fun watching movies, remembering the SLBC days, and enjoying the Japanese food!

CLA is a five-week leadership course that trains and empowers young church leaders from the Philippines and other countries. They teach different aspects of the ministry and how to fight human trafficking.

Recently, we have given the op-

portunity to lead the Missions Ministry of the entire Church So Blessed. We have been given the privilege of pastoring the mission-aries attending the main church in Timog Avenue, Quezon City. Right now, we are preparing to have a missions conference entitled: Re-vival Missions Conference 2017. Our aim is to intensify the mission work of Church So Blessed, locally and internationally.

As a bonus, I was given the chance to pray for a family that had recently encountered demons through a “satanic rosary.” This was shown on National TV (Ka-puso Mo Jessica Soho, GMA-7). The family was set free and ac-cepted Jesus as Lord and Savior! Woohooo!!! Isn’t that cool!

I am thanking the Lord that He brought me from SLBC to where I am right now. The ministry train-ing, my exposure to so many mis-sionaries, and the wisdom that I gained from my teachers and men-tors at the school became my min-istry tools to help me fulfill what the Lord has called me to do in this season of our lives. n

Alabaster Ministries was started in 2011. It was primarily an out-reach to the elderly in Southern Malawi, where there are numer-ous elderly over the age of 70. They are destitute, as most of their chil-dren have died from malaria and HIV/AIDS. This leaves them to take care of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There is no such thing as social security in third world nations.

To me it was obvious that these elderly were here for a purpose, and God was not done with them. We have been teaching them to see themselves as God sees them, to love each other, pray for each oth-er, and intercede for their nation. They also pray for their rebellious grandchildren, and we are seeing change in them.

Four times a year we distribute clothing and other necessary items. We have begun to dig wells with hand pumps, so that the elderly do not have to walk miles to get their 5-gallon pail of wa-ter. They have learned to witness at the wells, as they have a captive audi-ence there, and they are winning people to Christ.

Many of the elderly do not have homes and sleep under trees at night. We just finished a cottage for an elderly man who was 98 and lived under a tree. A cottage with concrete floor instead of a mud floor, a corrugated iron roof in-stead of grass, windows with bur-glar bars and mosquito netting, and a lockable front door costs $500. So far we have built 30 of them. We have 400 on our list.

When the pastors brought the elderly during distribution, we re-alized how little of the Word they knew. The Holy Spirit led us to be-gin a Bible School. We have 24 pas-tors who meet for one week every six weeks. There are five sessions a day. Since they have no youth or children’s churches, we have the pastors bring their wives and we teach them how to run efficient la-dies meetings, youth groups, and children’s churches. Now every one of the churches have meetings for all.

being sold into child marriage or child prostitution. Their families often do this to pay for the educa-tion of their brothers. It is a polyg-amist society and not uncommon for a 60-year-old man to take a 12-year-old girl as his fourth or fifth wife. The only way we can combat this is to ensure that the girls get an education. Education is paramount in Africa, and if we can pay for the school fees and uniforms to keep girls in school until they are at least 16, their parents or foster parents will not prostitute them.

There is a primary school not far from one of our churches, which has 500 children with three teachers and a volunteer, as well as two classroom blocks. We re-cently got permission from the Ministry of Education to rebuild and add classrooms and teachers. This is a long-term project. The conditions are that they will teach English and the Bible in class. We will scholarship the girls on the grounds that they attend church every Sunday. The only way we are going to set them free is one at a time, but it is well worth it. n

During one of my trips to the Philip-pines, I was moved when I saw all of the street children in Ma-

nila not going to school and run-ning around on the streets with no one to protect them from being picked up, lost or abused. There was no one feeding them or help-ing to take care of them in any way. So I began to be involved in a street ministry that did street day care a few times a week. They would bring in food and a person to feed the children and we would teach them about Jesus and about practical things to help these young ones to embark upon a more stable way of life.
