Amer Spa is a privately owned company headquartered in

Valdagno (Vicenza). Founded in 1974, Amer manufactures

high quality permanent magnet DC motors.

Amer is extremely relationship oriented and prides itself in

providing unparalleled service and attention to its cus-

tomers. The company employs approximately 120 people,

has an annual turnover of 19 million Euro, and exports its

products worldwide.

Amer moves to the new headquarters and manufacturing

facility of 5,500 sq.m. (60,500 sq.ft.).

The company gains the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certification.

Amer is widely recognized as a manufacturer of complete

traction system solutions, ready to be installed.

Component moulding is introduced in production processes

replacing previous milling technique.

Management introduces the "Easy way": projects, design

and production must be easy. All the processes have to shift

their nature from "difficult" to "easy", with undisputed

overall advantages.

Amer is founded and starts manufacturing DC motors for

industrial machines, still the core business today.

Very shortly motor gears, motor wheels and traction sys-

tems begin to be designed and produced.

ITALSEA was established in 1986 in Valdagno (Vicenza) as manufacturer of

electronic devices and has become a point of reference for the control of DC

motors. ITALSEA has 2,8 million EURO turnover and employs 20 people in an indu-

strial building of 1,200 sq.m. (13,000 sq-ft). The quality and skills of the Engineering

department enable the company to build custom designs in both hardware and soft-

ware. Thanks to the experience in understanding the needs of the customers ITAL-

SEA is able to individualize and fulfil common goals.

ITALSEA is the perfect company for people looking for a PARTNER on projects and

not simply a supplier.

SIR was established in 1986 in Cormano (Milan) as gearbox manufacturer.

The company moved to Valdagno (Vicenza) and started with the production of DC

and AC linear actuators.

SIR is now located in an industrial building of 1,400 sq.m. (15,000 sq-ft), employs

22 people with 3,8 millions EURO turnover.

SIR’S goal is to expand the business dimensions, the range of the products as well

SCHUMO is a Swiss company headquartered in Zurich. Established in 1984

SCHUMO has been developing and manufacturing electric linear actuators for the

medical, high-tech and ergonomic industry.

The company employs 14 people with 3 million EURO turnover in an industrial buil-

ding of 2,000 sq.m. (21,500 sq-ft). The experience and investments in new techno-

logies guarantee a very high quality even in customized solutions.

AMER ELECTRIC MOTION, Inc. is the Service/Distribution center for the

North American market of the Group of the 4 companies.

Established in 2000, AMER ELECTRIC MOTION, Inc. is located in Burnsville,

S1 CONTINUOUS DUTY Costant load operation which lasts long enough for the motor to reach thermal equilibrium.

S2 SHORT TIME DUTY Motor operates at constant load for a period of time shorter than the one required to reach thermal equilibrium, followed by a rest time lasting long enough to cool the motor down to ambient temperature.

S3 INTERMITTENT PERIODIC DUTY Operation provides a sequence of identical cycles. Each one of them includes a constant load operating time and a rest time.

*The motor with insulation class “F” could be to built with B class insulation materials where the temperature is considerated low. The insulation class of AMER’s standard motors is “B”. “F” class available.
